Education and Certification</b></p><ul><li>
Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program</li><li>
Licensed and Registered in New York State</li><li>
Certified by either the American Academy Nurse Practitioners or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)</li><li>
BLS Certified</li><li>
Achieves and maintains HIV specialist status</li><li>
Possess or obtain within first 90 days of employment a DATA Waiver for Buprenorphine Prescribing authority</li><li>
Accumulate a minimum of 15 HIV specific CME credits throughout the year and a minimum of 25 Credits per year to maintain certification requirements</li></ul><p><b>
Special Skills and Knowledge</b></p><p>

Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English/French).</li><li>
Experience in treating hard to reach populations, including the homeless, immigrants, HIV infected, substance users, and mentally ill.</li><li>
Desire and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to the delivery of high quality care.</li><li>
Leadership abilities with trouble shooting and problem solving skills.</li><li>
Proficient in use of electronic medical record systems and other technology required for use in the delivery of care.</li><li>
Track record of positive interpersonal skills with staff, clients, and others.</li><li>
Willingness to work off hours on special projects as reasonably dictated by Medical Director.</li><li>

The employee must be able to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination. Position Overview:</b></p><p>
Majestic Care Nurses render skilled technical nursing services to residents within an assigned unit/wing in support of medical care as directed by the nursing management team; supervises CNAs to ensure a high quality of care is provided to all residents in that unit.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
