We are looking for candidates who are excited about taking on more responsibility. Candidates must have demonstrated consumer class action experience. Experience with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state mini-TCPA laws, and automatic renewal laws is a plus. Experience in other complex litigation areas, including consumer protection, unfair competition, and false and deceptive advertising, is preferred. Familiarity with investigations and proceedings initiated by the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and other federal and state regulatory agencies is a plus.</p><p>

Salary</b></p><p>
The base annual pay range for this role is between $250,000 - $370,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. Join our Commercial Litigation Group in New York City, where you will handle complex litigation matters with immediate responsibility, client contact, and courtroom experience.</p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li> Manage cases from investigation through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, and trials.</li><li> Draft pleadings, dispositive and discovery motions, and appellate briefs.</li><li> Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with partners and clients; oversee discovery and e discovery.</li><li> Communicate directly with clients, experts, co counsel, and opposing counsel; participate in settlement negotiations.</li><li> Supervise and mentor junior team members and collaborate with staff.</li></ul><p><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring:</b></p><ul><li> Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.</li><li> Admission to the New York Bar in good standing.</li><li> 2-4 years of commercial and/or Real Estate litigation experience in New York state and/or federal courts.</li><li> Strong brief writing, research, and oral advocacy skills; comfort taking/defending depositions and appearing in court.</li><li> Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.</li><li> Team oriented mindset with professionalism and client service focus.</li></ul><p>
