Position Overview: </b>The Communications Trainee will assist the communications team with publicity-generating activities, game day media and PR operations and other administrative duties.</div><div></div><div><br>
In this role, the Trainee will provide key support to the day-to-day operations of creating and telling the story of the Atlanta Dream organization, players and coaches. The person in this role will work with both the team and the front office to help to amplify the stories of our organization, both seeking media placement opportunities and fielding incoming requests. This role offers hands-on experience in media relations, content development, corporate communications and brand storytelling.<br>

The Communications Trainee will gain experience working across both the Basketball Operations and Business Operations sides of the organization.</div><div></div><div><br>
The position will be for <b>12 months</b>, encompassing the entire WNBA season and offseason. The role will require the trainee to work multiple nights and weekends. The position is based in Atlanta and applicants are expected to work in the office (1000 Marietta St. Atlanta GA 30303) regularly. Relocation assistance will not be provided.<br>

Responsibilities Include: </b>The ideal candidate will assist in securing media placements, managing press logistics, and helping to amplify the narrative of the Atlanta Dream&rsquo;s players, coaches, and front office, including:<br>

<b>Strategic Planning &amp; Administrative Support:</b></div><div>
o Assist in season-long media planning and PR campaign execution for both basketball and business initiatives.</div><div>
o Support business operations by helping with media outreach related to partnerships, ticketing, and corporate events.</div><div>
o Provide general administrative support to the Communications team, including special projects as assigned.</div><div>

Media Relations &amp; Monitoring:</b></div><div>
o Support the Communications team in daily PR tasks, including media monitoring, tracking placements, and maintaining a media calendar.</div><div>
o Develop and pitch story ideas that highlight both the basketball and business sides of the organization to local and national media outlets.</div><div>
o Assist in drafting, editing, and fact-checking press releases, media advisories, and game notes.<br>
<b>Game Day &amp; Credential Management:</b></div><div>
o Prepare and distribute game notes to broadcast teams and media before all home and away games.</div><div>
o Manage the media credentialing process.</div><div>
o Assist with game day media center operations.</div><div>
o Facilitate pregame media availabilities and postgame press conferences for all home games.</div><div>
o Assist the broadcast team for away games in a local studio.</div><div><b>
Content &amp; Website Management:</b></div><div>
o Assist in updating AtlantaDream.com, including posting stories, photo galleries, videos, and other content in collaboration with the marketing and content teams.</div><div>

<div><p>The Brand Photographer &amp; Videographer is responsible for creating high-quality photography and video content that supports the company&rsquo;s marketing initiatives, brand storytelling, and agent marketing needs. This role produces professional visual content for social media, websites, marketing campaigns, recruiting efforts, and company events.</p>

The position focuses primarily on brand and content production while also providing photography and video support for agent headshots and real estate listings when needed.</p>

Job Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Plan, organize, create and edit photography and rich media video content for social media, websites and other marketing platforms that benefit the company and real estate agents.</li>
<li>Produce professional photo and video content for brand marketing, recruiting initiatives, company storytelling and digital campaigns.</li>
<li>Capture visual content that supports marketing campaigns, agent promotion, office initiatives and company communications.</li>
<li>Attend and photograph company meetings, events and marketing initiatives.</li>
<li>Agent Headshots and Personal Branding</li>
<li>Photograph professional agent headshots and personal branding imagery across company offices.</li>
<li>Coordinate scheduled headshot sessions and individual requests from agents.</li>
<li>Maintain consistent brand quality and visual standards across all photography.</li>

<p><b>Real Estate Photography and Video</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Take high quality interior and exterior photographs of residential properties when requested.</li>

<li>Capture and edit short-form and long-form video including brand stories, agent features and marketing campaigns.</li>
<li>Provide post-production support including color correction, audio adjustments and formatting for digital platforms.</li>
