<li>Observes, records and reports to the Authorized Medical Practitioner and Agency Personnel, the Patient&rsquo;s reaction to treatment, and any changes in the Patient&rsquo;s condition.</li>
<li>Works with the health team to shorten the Patient&rsquo;s recovery from illness and incorporate the management of residual disability.</li>
<li>Communicates with the Nurse at least every two (2) weeks to discuss the Patient&rsquo;s progress. Telephones the Agency immediately with any information that will influence or change the provision of services including any unusual situations observed during the course of service.
</li><li>Re-evaluates patient as needed to detect progress attained and completes a written progress report for the Patient&rsquo;s record containing Patient&rsquo;s progress, continues treatment plan, goals, frequency of visits, and outcomes of care provided.</li>
<li>Identifies problems with the operation and safety of equipment laces in the Patient&rsquo;s home and insures follow-up by the appropriate vendor and/or notifies the Agency to follow-up.</li>
<li>Submits Discharge summaries at the completion of services that includes outcome of care provided, equipment ordered and any recommendation for follow-up care.</li>

<p><b>Physical Therapist (PT) Minimum Education:</b></p>

<li>Has graduated from a Physical Therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or</li>
<li>the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.</li>

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst.

The Data Analyst will work directly with Dr. Horwitz, the Director of the Division of Healthcare Delivery Science and the Center for Healthcare Innovations and Delivery Science, as well as the Rapid RCT Lab. We are seeking a qualified Data Analyst to provide support for data management and analyses across the Rapid RCT portfolio of projects. The Data Analyst will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing statistical analyses. A successful applicant will be able to work autonomously and comfortably in an academic medical center environment.</p>
<p><b>
Job Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li><p>Maintain existing data collection and analysis systems in support of the research protocol</p>
</li>
<li><p>Provide technical assistance to analysts and researchers in accessing and analyzing datasets, as needed</p>
</li>
<li><p>Create descriptive data summaries including visualizations and written descriptions of data findings for a wide range of audiences</p>
</li>
<li><p>Design and conduct analyses pertaining to data acquired through various data sources</p>
</li>
<li><p>Work with staff and others to facilitate automation of standard, recurrent data acquisition, management, analysis and reporting</p>
</li>
<li><p>Support the development of publications and conference presentations, including drafting academic and nonacademic publications, writing conference abstracts, conducting lit reviews and creating tables and other data visualizations for presentations</p>
</li>
<li><p>Under direct supervision by the Division Director and with the guidance of the team's lead biostatistician, conduct basic statistical analyses and present them to the team</p></li></ul><br>

</p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b><br>
To qualify you must have a Masters degree in health care economics, health care policy, applied statistics, data science, biostatistics or a Bachelors degree with relevant work experience; Strong quantitative skills and advanced programming skills in Stata, SAS, and/or R; At least 2 years of work experience and/or research experience in a relevant setting; Ability to select and apply appropriate statistical methods for collecting and summarizing varied data; Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative research team</p>
<p><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b><br>
1. Knowledge of principles and methods of biostatistics; principles, theories, and procedures of epidemiology, including study design, statistical analysis, and causal inference; 2. Appropriate computer processing methods used to generate, organize and display statistical and research data; and standard English grammar, spelling, and usage; 3. Strong attention to detail; 4. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills; 5. Planning/organizational skills; 6. Personal motivation</p>
