A Day in the Life
 
The Sales and Training Executive is responsible for driving retail sales per door and developing personnel and education strategy for department and specialty door accounts. Maintain excellent relationships within assigned department and/or specialty accounts. Manage accounts to maximize daily and monthly business goals, promotional activities and launches.
 
Requirements

<li>5 to 7 years of retail management experience, with at least 3 to 5 years managing multiple retailers/store locations with broad geographic scope.</li>

Responsibilities

<li>Actively plan, execute and follow up on new hire training and timely completion of Kiehls’ Academy courses.</li>
<li>Monitor and analyze business trends across all stores within territory; implement plans for in-store seasonal planning and execution. Plan and execute product launches, GWPs and PWPs with store manager, or department manager to ensure maximum visual effect and sales performance.</li>
<li>Responsible for daily, monthly and seasonal tracking of total retail performance within territory.</li>
<li>Arrange and spearhead seasonal meetings with each store. Prepare and carry out seasonal retailer presentations. Participate in and/or organize regional retailer strategy meetings.</li>
<li>Monitor cleanliness of the counter stock and display units and hold BAs accountable for Kiehl’s store quality requirements. Execute and maintain all Kiehl’s merchandising standards and ensure protection of company assets by monitoring returns/testers/TOA usage.</li>
<li>Develop, motivate and train business managers and counter personnel through education programs and e-learning training programs. Actively plan, execute and follow up on new hire training using the Kiehl’s training/education tools.</li>
<li>Ensure consistent execution of pricing, merchandising and marketing strategies in each store within the territory.</li>
<li>Actively and accurately communicate selling and inventory trends within district to regional management and home office partners.</li>

Job Overview

As a Retail Selling Colleague, you blend selling that delivers results with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You take the time to understand each customer&rsquo;s needs, offering personalized recommendations and connecting them with the right products and services. Whether on the sales floor or in the fitting room, your warmth, product knowledge, and personal approach turn everyday visits into memorable moments. You stay focused on achieving selling goals by driving performance through customer engagement and smart selling behaviors. With every interaction, you build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire loyalty - making each visit both meaningful and successful.

This role goes far beyond just being a cashier. Here, the customer is at the heart of everything we do - every day, all day. How our Selling Colleagues spend their day&hellip;

<li>Our colleagues begin each day energized and ready to make an impact. They wear their name badge with pride, greet teammates with a warm hello, and help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers. Before getting started, they review their sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions - so they&rsquo;re fully informed and ready to engage, educate, and sell with confidence.</li>
<li>On the floor, they focus on the customer -offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations to create customer relationships to bring the customers back.</li>
<li>Throughout the day, they maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting any needed merchandise moves.</li>
<li>They always Finish Strong - sharing our Loyalty program benefits, making sure customers have all they need, and ending with a sincere thank-you, often walking the package around and using the customer&rsquo;s name.</li>
<li>We believe service starts with each other -supporting one another with honesty, care, and collaboration so we can better serve our customers and communities.</li>
<li>And we know that excellence is a journey - we strive to improve every day, take pride in our work, achieve sales goals and learn from each other to deliver individual and store results.</li>

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability. Who You Are

<li>Must be able to:
<ul><li>Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors</li>
<li>Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English</li>
</ul></li><li>Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues</li>
<li>Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits</li>
<li>Meeting daily sales goal challenges</li>
<li>Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information</li>
<li>Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics</li>
<li>You can handle electronic devices with no problem</li>
</ul>
Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
<ul>
<li>This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands</li>
<li>Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level</li>
<li>Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment</li>
<li>Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions</li>
