 As a Sunday Intern, you&rsquo;ll be in the thick of it, contributing to the development of hard-hitting stories and features that define our Sunday paper&mdash;whether that means breaking news, in-depth profiles, or captivating features on entertainment and celebrity culture. This is your chance to get unparalleled experience working on some of the most anticipated and widely read editions in journalism.  What You&rsquo;ll Do

 Pitch your own story ideas to the team, with the chance to execute approved stories&mdash;sometimes working directly with a lead reporter.

 Go on location to report, gather quotes, and observe key moments, feeding notes back to the lead reporter.

 Help craft hard-hitting, engaging stories for the Sunday Edition by contributing to the writing and development of articles.

 Collaborate with the team to cover everything from breaking news and in-depth features to entertainment and celebrity culture.

 Are you an aspiring journalist ready to take your newsroom experience and skills to the next level? The ABC News Fellowship is a year-long rotational program designed to develop early career journalists and content creators from a diverse group of backgrounds. You will spend a year rotating through a series of ABC News shows and platforms while mastering the editorial, production, and newsgathering skills crucial to success in the competitive, fast-paced field of multiplatform journalism. These journalists will gain hands-on experience developing news stories, working on productions, writing, shooting, editing, refining research skills and developing content for all platforms.  The base salary for this position in New York, NY is $66,300. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
