Hospital-based Labor &amp; Delivery unit at a Magnet-designated academic teaching center</li><li>
Extreme high-risk Level 3 Perinatal center &mdash; approximately 70% of patients are complex high-risk cases</li><li>
Facility features a Level 4 NICU serving as a regional center, with approximately 150 births per month</li><li>
Patient population includes antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care, including high-risk obstetrical cases</li><li>
Patient ratio is 1:1</li><li>
Unit includes 2 ORs for C-sections, BTLs, and postpartum D&amp;Cs; a second L&amp;D RN serves as 'baby catcher' for well, non-compromised newborns</li><li>
Unit also provides outpatient services when the clinic is closed</li><li>
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00&ndash;07:30</li><li>
