 The HSE Personnel is responsible for assisting the project team in implementing the Health, Safety, and Environment Management System (HSEMS) on construction projects. The role involves monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and liaising with various stakeholders to maintain and improve safety standards. Job description:Overall Purpose of the roleHSE Engineer is responsible for the implementation of safety engineering policies and programs that embrace a range of matters directly or indirectly concerned with safety and protection. Assignments also include responsibility for the technical adequacy of plans, designs, and specifications for improvement of safety programs within a facility.Expectations &amp; Responsibilities related to your role&middot; Reviewing &amp; approving of contractor&rsquo;s Health and Safety Plan as per the client and other legal requirements.&middot; Reviewing method statements/risk assessments for Contractors.&middot; Monitoring occupational health and safety implementations at construction sites in accordance with legal requirements &amp; technical specification.&middot; Evaluate Workplace Safety by Performing inspections to verify that activities are conducted safely.&middot; Carry out weekly joint EHS inspection with contractor personnel and ensuring all the corrective/preventive actions are closed out.&middot; Conducting and assist with OSH/ EHS audits, such as Fire Audit, Quarterly Audit and Heat Stress and welfare facility audit.&middot; Follow-up contractor&rsquo;s incident investigation and ensuring close out actions are timely completed to prevent reoccurring.&middot; Developing a technical report such as Monthly OSH/ EHS Statistic Report, management walk inspection report in conjunction with contractor personnel and submitting to the client.&middot; Ensuring the competency of contractor OSH/EHS staff in line with Clint OSH/EHS competency guidelines.&middot; Monitoring the contractor OSH Objectives &amp; Targets Action Plan and ensue achieving the targets.&middot; plan and organize service requests to meet target dates and production goals.&middot; Organizing HSE meetings among staff, monthly HSE meetings with clients &amp; top Management and preparing the agenda, Minutes and also providing the guidance.&middot; Organizing and conducting induction training.&middot; Developing and implementing the project-specific OSH/ EHS training program.&middot; Providing guidance in developing the project OSH/ EHS incentive program.&middot; Ensuring the availability of necessary PPE.&middot; Liaise with the client and enforcement authorities, ensuring they comply with Health &amp; Safety regulations for the project.Ability to commute/relocate:Job Type: Full-time

 Ensure QHSE notices, posters, and information are displayed in strategic locations.

 Prepare recommendations to improve QHSE performance and ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.

 Qualifications:

 OSHA and/or NEBOSH certification required.
 </li>
 <li>
 In-depth knowledge of QHSE standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

 Minimum 5&ndash;7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diploma or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in QHSE, Safety, Environmental, or related field preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good command of English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational, time-management, and reporting skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
 </li>
