 Shriners Children's Chicago has an opportunity for a Part-Time Patient Care Assistant in our Inpatient Unit. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives.  Hours
 
 This part-time position is 48 hours bi-weekly (0.6 FTE) and the hours are 1000 pm - 630 am with an every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
 
 
 The pay range for this position is $18.65/hour - $27.98/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 The Patient Care Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
 </li>
 <li>
 The PCA provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.
