Our Call Center Patient Care Coordinators are responsible for managing inbound scheduling and patient communication across all departments within our organization (ENT, Sleep, Imaging, Cosmetic, Allergy, Audiology, Oral Appliance, Post-Operative, and any others as they apply). They serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking appointments, follow-up care, and general assistance, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly, accurately, and professionally.
This role manages a high volume of telephone calls, electronic inquiries, online scheduling requests, referrals, and internal task assignments. Call Center PCC's monitor multiple communication platforms and work closely with providers and clinical teams to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately and receive timely follow-up. Their work is critical to maintaining access to care and delivering a responsive, patient-centered experience.
Travel may be required to any Chicago ENT/Chicago Sleep Center or affiliated location.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Meet established Call Center performance standards, including but not limited to average hold time, call handling efficiency, first-contact resolution, accurate call routing, abandonment rate, and bounce/transfer rates, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.</li><li>

This role provides short-term, individualized clinical interventions to members who have been identified as seeking therapy and as having a behavioral health condition (e.g., substance use, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar) that is negatively impacting their overall health and/or daily functioning. This role is centered in a trauma informed care approach with emphasis on harm reduction and motivational interviewing to elicit behavioral change and adherence with medical recommendations and treatment plans. This role serves as the behavioral health subject matter expert (SME) within an interdisciplinary care team comprised of primary care providers, nurses, medical/social work care managers, psychiatrists, pharmacy, community health workers, and resource specialists. The BHC may make for behavioral health levels of care that are not provided through AbsoluteCare providers, e.g., ACT, IOP, PHP, residential treatment, inpatient services. The BHC comprehensively assesses our members through a biopsychosocial approach and develops a person-centered treatment plan with measurable goals toward improving the physical and behavioral health of our members. The BHC may provide any combination of short-term individual therapy, group therapy, and post-hospital follow up within 7 days of a member&rsquo;s discharge from an inpatient mental health or substance use unit (HEDIS measures). Key performance indicators used to identify success in improving the overall health of our members include meeting treatment plan goals, increased adherence to treatment plan compliance, decreased preventable medical/psychiatric events, (e.g., emergency room utilization, hospital admissions, and hospital readmissions), post hospital discharge follow up measures (HEDIS), and member retention. American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU) position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Illinois, requiring at least 2 years of recent ED experience and an active IL RN license.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">

Clinical Decisions Unit (CDU) within an Emergency Department setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center</li><li>
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM&ndash;7:30 PM</li><li>
Every other weekend (approximately 2 weekends per month) required</li><li>
Charting performed in Cerner</li><li>
This is a mandatory float facility &mdash; all clinicians are required to float across Cook County facilities at the facility's discretion, with up to 50-mile float radius and as little as 2 hours' notice before a shift</li><li>
Local candidates accepted and preferred; must reside within 75 miles of the facility</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Requirements</h3><ul><li>
Active Illinois (IL) RN license required &mdash; no pending licenses accepted</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in an Emergency Department setting</li><li>
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS</li><li>
Cerner EMR experience preferred given facility usage</li><li>
2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration</li><li>
COVID vaccination proof required &mdash; no exceptions</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Additional Information</h3><ul><li>
Provide emergency and clinical decision nursing care in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center environment</li><li>
Floating may occur to a variety of units, including areas outside of primary competency; a team-based care model is used when floating outside primary area</li><li>
RTO is capped at 5 days maximum per contract, with no more than 2 consecutive days off at a time</li><li>
Weekend RTO will not be approved</li><li>
No RTO on holidays or the day immediately before or after a holiday</li><li>
No block scheduling or special scheduling requests permitted</li><li>
Navy blue scrubs required and are not provided by the facility</li></ul></div>
