Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene including bathing mouth care dressing skin care positioning feeding ambulation toileting and range of motion activities. DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you&rsquo;ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. 
 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>

Short-term acute care teaching hospital; member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals (COTH) with 338 staffed beds</li><li>
NICU unit with floating required between Adult and NICU departments</li><li>
Patient population includes neonatal and adult critical care patients</li><li>
Procedures include airway management, endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, nasal and oral airway placement, pulmonary hygiene, tracheostomy care, ABG interpretation, and assistance with high-risk deliveries</li><li>
Ventilators used: Dr&auml;ger V500, Dr&auml;ger VN500, and Servo U</li><li>
Respiratory modalities include HFNC, BiPAP, CPAP, mechanical ventilation weaning, and a wide range of inhaled medications and aerosol therapies</li><li>
