Role Overview
Liquidnet is seeking an business analyst to join the Fixed Income electronic trading technology team in London. The successful candidate will partner with on and off-shore engineering teams, product development, sales and central architecture functions to pioneer the evolution of our trading system to meet business expansion goals. 
 
Role Responsibilities
The role encompasses the elicitation and communication of requirements for changes to Liquidnet and TP ICAP IT systems supporting Liquidnet. The successful candidate will be required to:
<ul><li>Participates in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and produce clear documentation of requirements for Technology projects
</li><li>Agree documented user requirements with business and IT stakeholders
</li><li>Coordinate, hold and lead requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business. Monitor, track issues, risks and dependencies on analysis and requirements work
</li><li>Contribute to the definition of business architecture and business solution design
</li><li>Work closely with Solution Architects and Development teams to define Technology solutions
</li><li>Participate and drive execution and delivery of strategic roadmaps
</li><li>Ensure scrum master / project manager is kept apprised of the status of the assigned projects and activities
</li><li>Ensure that appropriate levels of service are provided to meet current and future business needs
</li><li>Manage ad-hoc tasks as required
</li></ul>Experience / Competences
Essential
<ul><li>Proven experience operating as a Business Analyst in Financial Services Technology, ideally within an Agile development environment
</li><li>Ability to construct standard business workflow diagrams
</li><li>Strong problem solving, documentation and ability to work to tight deadlines
</li><li>Ability to work on multiple projects whilst managing multiple deadlines and differing priorities
</li><li>Ability to self-start, identify tasks required independently to fulfil project deliverables and work as a team member
</li><li>Writing skills - ability to produce documents in a clear, accurate and compelling manner
</li><li>Experience in the Credit Markets and Credit Trading domains
</li><li>Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management at all levels; strong presentation skills
