Job Purpose:

The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacotherapy Clinic by assisting pharmacists with patient communication, follow‑up, and care coordination activities. This role focuses on enhancing patient access to clinical services, supporting medication management processes, and ensuring that patients receive timely monitoring and appropriate follow‑up throughout their therapy. The Technician contributes to safe, efficient, and patient‑centered clinical operations within a non‑dispensing environment.

Job Duties:

<li>Conduct routine patient check‑ins to monitor therapy experience, identify concerns, and support adherence to treatment plans.</li>
<li>Assist with initial outreach to confirm therapy start and assess early treatment experience.</li>
<li>Coordinate patient appointments, follow‑up visits, and clinical monitoring schedules.</li>
<li>Support pharmacists by completing delegated tasks such as gathering patient information, preparing charts or notes, and managing task queues.</li>
<li>Track and follow up on required labs or monitoring parameters, ensuring completion and communicating status to the care team.</li>
<li>Prepare and route prescription‑related requests or medication renewals to the pharmacist for review.</li>
<li>Maintain clear and timely documentation in all required systems to support continuity of care.</li>
<li>Facilitate workflow efficiency by organizing patient lists, call queues, and clinical follow‑up tasks.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality and adhere to clinic standards, policies, and professional expectations.</li>
<li>Participate in relevant training, team meetings, and process improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Skills: strong interpersonal communication skills, strong phone skills, highly proficient in Epic, and Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word; able to quickly learn other programs and able to extract relevant information; strong organizational skills a must.

Experience/ Education:

Required Licensure/Certification: We are seeking experienced pharmacy technicians who are state registered as pharmacy technician. Nationally certified as a CPhT or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required. Should additional licensure need to be obtained, the applicant will commit to obtaining the required licensure within a mutually agreed upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements.

Years of Experience: Required: 1+ years, Preferred: 5-8 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Experience working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (preferably in a medical clinic) is a plus.

Responsibilities
Under the immediate direction of a qualified licensed Staff Pharmacist, you will be trained to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy. Many of your duties will include:<ul><li>
Prepare prescriptions by typing labels and obtain Staff Pharmacist approval</li><li>

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you&rsquo;ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. 
 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care</li><li>
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment</li><li>
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment</li><li>
Record vital signs and patient data</li><li>
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health</li><li>
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members</li></ul> 
Requirements<ul><li>
Accredited High School diploma, general education development (&ldquo;GED&rdquo;) credential, or equivalent</li><li>
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment</li><li>
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet</li><li>
Willing to float between local clinics if needed</li><li>
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>
Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience</li></ul>

The Wage Range for the role is $22.00 - $34.00/hour.

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour<div>
