Eligible participants will be able to demonstrate competency and understanding of basic camera, lighting , and audio production techniques suitable to small-scale shoots, a s well the editing competency to distill raw material into various formats with a sensitivity to their intended purpose (frequently that means short-form , social-friendly) . The position is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in the shooter-editor role, and who would like a chance to practice and improve their skills across a range of production duties. 
</div><div></div><div>This is a part-time, in-person internship requiring approximately 20 hours per week . The duration of the internship is July through December . Interns are expected to work on-site and may be req uired to tr avel to other borough offices and project sites as needed.  </div><div>The intern will learn how to use human-centric strategic and design thinking to reach internal and external audiences. They will also get to create content and experiences that connect the public and Legal Aid staff to our mission, values, and each other. D uties include:
</div><ul><li>Content creation - Collaborate closely with Communications D epartment &rsquo;s stakeholders to facilitate the creation of video content that artistically and accurately captures the values of our organization through a variety of formats
</li><li>Video Production &ndash; Assuming (under supervision) basic camera, lighting , and audio production duties in diverse circumstances as the situation requires - including on-site shoots at locations through New York city&rsquo;s five boroughs
</li><li>Video Post-Production &ndash; Execute editing assignments under the direction of the Content Production Manager for various internal and external promotional media channels , including the final export of project deliverables, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/ sfx .
</li><li>Learning &ndash; Interns will be expected to learn new skills , techniques , and equipment in the service of participating in production and post-production role s , under the instruction of the Content Production Manager .

 About the Role:
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for a highly creative and beauty-obsessed
 
 Content Creator Intern
 
 to join our team for a 6-month internship starting May 2026. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in content creation who can independently produce high-quality, engaging videos that feel native to TikTok and Instagram.
 
 
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll be responsible for bringing our products to life through compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement and conversion. This role is primarily remote but requires the ability to travel on-site to our NJ office and NYC sets for content shoots when needed.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:

 Create short-form video content (TikTok, Reels) featuring ESW Beauty products

 Concept, shoot, and edit high-performing content (UGC-style + elevated brand visuals)

 Execute on trending formats while maintaining strong brand storytelling

 Edit all content using
 
 CapCut
 
 (must be highly proficient)

 Film content both at home and on-site as needed

 Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, launches, and creative direction

 Stay up to date on beauty, skincare, and social media trends
