The role ensures that construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and commissioning plans, while protecting the Client&rsquo;s interests.
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Provide full‑time on‑site leadership during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.</li><li>
Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision teams across all disciplines.</li><li>
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, Employer&rsquo;s Requirements, and contractual obligations.</li><li>
Monitor site progress against approved construction and commissioning programmes and report deviations.</li><li>
Enforce quality assurance and control in line with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), conducting inspections and issuing site observations and NCRs as required.</li><li>
Verify materials, workmanship, installations, and system readiness prior to testing, commissioning, and energization.</li><li>
Support and witness FATs, SATs, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) activities, as applicable.</li><li>
Coordinate and supervise commissioning readiness and execution in collaboration with the Project Manager, Technical Leads, and Commissioning teams.</li><li>
Review and provide assurance on contractor commissioning plans, method statements, test procedures, and sequencing.</li><li>
Track commissioning defects, punch lists, and outstanding items through to closure.</li><li>
Support preparation, review, and verification of as‑built documentation, O&amp;M manuals, warranties, and handover deliverables.</li><li>
Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, participating in safety walks, toolbox talks, and incident investigations, and escalating unsafe practices promptly.</li><li>
Chair daily site coordination meetings and participate in weekly progress and commissioning meetings.</li><li>
Act as the primary on‑site interface between the Client, PMC team, contractors, vendors, and authorities.</li><li>
Coordinate logistics, access, sequencing, and interfaces to avoid conflicts and delays.</li><li>
Review and support responses to RFIs, site queries, and commissioning clarifications.</li><li>
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site and commissioning reports, including progress status, photos, and issue trackers.</li></ul>
What Required Skills You&rsquo;ll Bring:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).</li><li>
Minimum 18 years of professional experience, including:</li><li>
Significant experience in construction supervision / site management, and</li><li>
Demonstrated involvement in testing, commissioning, and handover of mission‑critical or data center facilities.</li><li>
Proven experience working in a PMC or Engineer&rsquo;s Representative role on large, complex projects.</li><li>
Strong understanding of commissioning processes, system integration, and operational readiness.</li><li>
Experience in the UAE, with ability to undertake short‑term travel within GCC countries.</li></ul>
