We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst with a strong background in Technology Business Management (TBM) and IT financial operations. This role will focus on enhancing cost transparency, improving financial accountability, and aligning IT spend with business value across multiple IT service areas.

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul><li>Lead and execute TBM Expense Transparency initiatives across IT divisions</li>
<li>Develop, maintain, and refine financial models and cost allocation frameworks</li>
<li>Partner with IT service owners to validate financial data and improve cost visibility</li>
<li>Analyze IT spending and provide actionable insights to stakeholders</li>
<li>Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks for financial transparency</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost modeling, allocation methodologies, and reporting</li>
<li>Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes</li>
<li>Translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders</li>
<li>Continuously improve data sources, allocation rules, and financial assumptions</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Required Qualifications:</h3>
<ul><li>Proven experience in Technology Business Management (TBM), IT financial management, or cost transparency initiatives</li>
<li>Strong understanding of:
<ul><li>Budgeting and forecasting</li>
<li>Cost allocation methodologies</li>
<li>Procurement and contract management</li>
<li>Financial reporting and analysis</li>
</ul></li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, automation, scenario analysis)</li>
<li>Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, Finance, and business teams</li>
<li>Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Preferred Qualifications:</h3>
<ul><li>Experience with TBM tools and cost transparency reporting (e.g., Power BI dashboards)</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with:

The Telecommunications Services, Communications Infrastructure and Communications Software team currently covers 23-listed companies across subsectors and adjacencies including large cap telecommunications, AI and wireless infrastructure and emerging communications software companies. In addition to coverage of publicly traded companies, the team regularly vets a number of private companies for potential IPOs.
The candidate for the position should be intellectually curious and have a deep desire to learn. The candidate should also have some experience with financial modeling and quantitative analysis, as well as strong verbal communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate possesses experience in telecommunications/technology research. Further, the candidate should possess experience with company modeling and have a passion for following the stock market.
The candidate will work alongside their Senior Analyst and Junior Analyst peers in all aspects, from idea generation to company meetings, including but not limited to the following:<ul><li>
Perform complex financial modeling &amp; valuation work</li><li>
Write regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratch</li><li>

Leads and/or supports the preparation of associated financial models and written reports, which can be complex and quantitative in nature</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent years of experience (business, economics or accounting degree preferred)</li><li>
2+ years of experience in investment banking and/or research (equity or credit, sell-side or buy-side)</li><li>
Strong writing and spreadsheet skills. Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel</li><li>
Along with Finance and Accounting financial modeling skills, should have strong understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, regulatory and emerging technology trends.</li><li>
