Position Summary:
The Social Media Coordinator plays a central role in shaping MoMA&rsquo;s digital presence, assisting with social strategy and content creation to support visitation and revenue. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Social Media, this role supports all aspects of the Museum&rsquo;s social media strategy, including content calendar management. The Social Media Coordinator will amplify MoMA&rsquo;s dynamic program calendar while keeping the Museum the center of global cultural conversations.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Supports all aspects of the Museum&rsquo;s social media strategy, including project management, asset sourcing, and coordination with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners to fulfill social media goals and inbound requests.</li>
<li>Proposes fresh, engaging content ideas for MoMA&rsquo;s social media channels based on the Museum&rsquo;s collection and exhibition schedule.</li>
<li>Creates content for MoMA&rsquo;s social media channels from start to finish, working cross functionally with other departments in the Museum to execute image sourcing, video creation, copywriting, and research as needed.</li>
<li>Shoots video and photography on iPhone; DSLR and/or mirrorless camera, as well as gimbal, microphones, ring light, and other associated equipment.</li>
<li>Manages monthly content calendar and ensures content delivery remains on schedule.</li>
<li>Coordinates creation of social media assets with content and design teams.</li>
<li>Secures approvals as needed, including coordination of image rights and sponsor recognition.</li>
<li>Supports influencer marketing strategy and delivery.</li>
<li>Monitors and responds to inquiries and comments on MoMA&rsquo;s social media channels.</li>
<li>Stays abreast of emerging trends and technologies to identify opportunities and engage new partners.</li>

Requirements:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and at least two years professional experience in social media and digital marketing. Art history, studio art, film, or associated majors preferred, but not required.</li>
<li>Experience with short form video content creation preferred.</li>
<li>Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Proven project management and multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently, proactively, collaboratively, and effectively under pressure.</li>
<li>Experience with analytics tools for social media platforms preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with Sprout Social, Asana, or similar social media management and project management programs.</li>
<li>Creative thinker and problem solver who can clearly articulate ideas, frame challenges, highlight opportunities, and offer solutions.</li>
<li>Interest and enthusiasm for the work of MoMA and knowledge of art and non-profit cultural world.</li>

Salary: The salary for this position is $65,567 per annum.

 WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO:

<li>Assist in building, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads</li>
<li>Track and analyze performance across key metrics including ROAS, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue</li>
<li>Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations that identify optimization opportunities to improve ROI and efficiency 
Partner with the graphic design team to coordinate end-to-end paid ad creative development. This includes managing project timelines and creative requests using project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, etc.)</li>
<li>Help develop briefs and ensure creative assets align with campaign goals and channel best practices</li>
<li>Monitor industry marketing activity and identify opportunities for innovation and growth</li>
