Job Responsibilities
The Service Center Technician will provide phone, remote &amp; email-based, first-level technical support to staff and faculty for the Webster City School. This position will focus on First Call Resolution (FCR) and as needed will escalate the incident to the Customer Support Technicians and other areas of the Technology Services department.
The Service Center Technician will organize and coordinate endpoint deployment and break- fix efforts by the day-to-day coaching of the Service Center Technicians ensuring efficient and accurate resolution of incidents and requests.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

2+ years in experience with commercial air conditioning including: chillers, water pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, package units, split systems, exhaust fans and heat pumps.</li></ul> 
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak, read, and write routine reports and correspondence. 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS/COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Familiar with energy management systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
REASONING ABILITY
Familiar with and easily able to read and interpret diagrams, drawings and manuals of craft trades. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the Maintenance Technician II is regularly required to stand at eight hour intervals with occasional scheduled breaks, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The individual frequently is required to climb stairs and ladders. The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, at higher than chest level and be able to tolerate adverse rooftop working conditions due to climate and tolerate extreme temperature changes.
