We&rsquo;re seeking a Supervising Producer to take a lead role in making and developing content for YouTube and social media. This position will be based in Chicago or New York.</div><div></div><div>
You should be a video storyteller who is also well-versed in what works on YouTube and social media, from style to metadata to thumbnails, and able to take digital content from concept to execution. Since we are a 24-7 newsroom, you should also be comfortable working in high-pressure situations, a stickler for spelling, and committed to telling stories that matter.</div><div></div><div>

Pitch, develop, and produce original video content, including for YouTube and social media platforms</div><div>
Post to and manage social media accounts reaching millions of users, from Facebook to TikTok</div><div>
Oversee the creation of social media and video content, ensuring best practices are followed to maximize impact</div><div>
Evaluate content, workflow, and strategy, using data to provide recommendations for improvement</div><div>
Ensure NewsNation&rsquo;s digital content maintains high standards and differentiates our brand from our competitors</div><div>
Keep up to date on the latest trends in digital and social video production and share with the larger team</div><div>
Qualifications</div><div>
4+ years working as a producer of original video content for large brands or news outlets</div><div>
Good news judgement and ability to spot stories / topics with high potential reach</div><div>
Strong writing skills and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice</div><div>
Ability to quickly edit video and photos in high-pressure situations</div><div>
Knowledge of data and analytics and demonstrated ability to use that data to make decisions</div><div>
Good communicator who can work collaboratively</div><div>
Experience using Adobe Suite, including Premiere and Photoshop, preferred</div><div>
Journalism background preferred but not required</div><div>
Experience directing on-camera talent a plus</div><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.</div><div></div><div>
This position is in-office in New York or Chicago. Late-night and/or weekend shifts may be required.</div><div></div><div>
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000</div><div></div><div>
