The ideal candidate is a highly skilled video podcast editor who is proficient in editing both long-form and short-form podcast content across Betches Media platforms via Spotify, YouTube, Instagram &amp; TikTok. You will play a major part in the post production of short form social media edits and longform multicam podcast edits, as well as the post production of podcast audio.
Our video podcast editors will work hand-in-hand with producers to develop dynamic content with an eye towards social, and should be excited to infuse their edits with as much creativity as possible. Our editors will also work closely with our social and motion graphics team to ensure our end product is both high-quality and primed for virality.

 About The Role
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for a motivated Video Editor to help create storytelling-led, visually engaging content across multiple platforms in the beauty space. Working hand in hand with senior editors, creative and art directors, and the social team, you&rsquo;ll shape video content from raw footage through final delivery &mdash; bringing both creative and technical expertise across a wide variety of assets and projects. The ideal candidate is proficient in video editing and motion graphics software, comfortable in a fast-paced creative environment, and familiar with post-production workflows including media management, syncing, color correction, and audio leveling.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Shape video content across platforms in collaboration with creative lead and art director
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in the conceptualizing and storyboarding process, translating creative briefs and scripts into compelling videos and motion graphics
 </li>
 <li>
 Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets within established workflows
 </li>
 <li>
 Build rough assemblies and string-outs, maintaining clear timelines and labeling systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Edit video, perform color correction and grading, and create title designs and motion graphics that add excitement, elevation, and modernity to every project
 </li>
 <li>
 Support visual effects, compositing, and audio leveling under the guidance of senior editors
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep project files organized and manage storage workflows across shared drives and cloud platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Export, encode, and deliver final videos in multiple aspect ratios and codecs optimized for social and digital platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and help oversee the production process
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage revisions, versioning, and delivery according to specs and client and brand feedback
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure consistency with brand standards
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot common post-production issues and assist with software/hardware setup when needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay up to date on emerging editing tools, platform requirements, and content best practices

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>

 2&ndash;5 years of hands-on video editing, post-production, and/or motion design experience (internships and freelance work welcome)
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; Adobe Photoshop / Creative Suite a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of video codecs, terminology, color grading, visual effects, motion graphics, and post-production workflows
 </li>
 <li>
 A robust portfolio demonstrating storytelling, technical skill, and a command of design principles &mdash; typography, color theory, and composition
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational, project, and file management skills with sharp attention to detail and a critical eye for quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of AI-driven design tools and techniques
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn and grow from feedback
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong creative sensibility with a finger on the pulse of beauty and fashion marketing trends

 One of our values is Stark Honesty and the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
 
 
 At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
 
 
 The pay range for this position is $70,000-$95,000. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
