About the Role

Gimbal / Monopod)</li><li>Must be able to shoot in higher frame rates (60fps/120fps)</li><li>Must be able to record well-balanced crystal clear audio (ex. Ceremony &amp; Toasts/Reception), effectively capturing all speakers' dialogue, music and significant SFX using external recorders, lav microphones, and wireless mic systems (such as Zoom H6, Tascam DR-10L, Rode Wireless Go, etc).</li><li>Must have high speed internet and available file-sharing storage for video footage to download remotely.</li><li>Must be able to work weekends.</li><li>Must be punctual. This is not a CCTV, camera-monitoring, or static guard post, applicants without direct field surveillance experience will not be considered.

Required Qualifications (must have ALL):

Technology Learning Specialist
Under the general direction of the IT Training Manager and according to established Firm policies and procedures, is responsible for all aspects of the Firm's training program relative to desktop applications, its structure, and design. Conduct training of new employees and current staff on all levels. Maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and Firm matters.
The Technology Learning Specialist position can be located in the Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Dallas, Charlotte, or Los Angeles office. Katten offers a hybrid work model, allowing the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely on a regular basis (KattenFlex).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following. Other duties may be requested and/or assigned. Coordinate with Help Desk and other IT staff to create and maintain application reference materials on the firm's DMS and intranet.</li><li>
Assist and coordinate training for other offices.</li><li>
Conduct video conference training sessions for other offices when required.</li><li>
Conduct firm offered training sessions placed on the LMS calendar. Assist in management of the LMS.</li><li>
Participate in special projects, as required.</li><li>

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<ul><li>
Associate's degree or equivalent and two or more years technical training experience specifically in developing, implementing, and conducting applications training pertaining to a large practice law firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Must be quality and results oriented with excellent writing skills and substantial experience in writing technical documentation (e.g., training manuals, quick reference guides, etc.). Strong conceptual understanding of desktop applications and MOS Certificate preferred.</li><li>
Computer proficient with advanced technical and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications (including templates, macros, styles, etc.). Extensive knowledge of document formatting and an understanding of document management systems and Internet software.
