ABOUT THE ROLE
We&rsquo;re looking for a fast, detail-oriented Video Editor to support daily programming and creator production workflows. You&rsquo;ll be editing soundbites, segments, social media content, and promotional clips in a high-tempo, newsroom-style environment, while collaborating closely with producers across multiple shows. This role requires speed, precision, and a proactive mindset&mdash;along with a strong eye for what resonates in digital media.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Edit pre- and post-production content for daily shows using Adobe Premiere Pro</li><li>
Cut soundbites, segments, and promotional clips in a fast-paced, newsroom-style environment</li><li>
Work with show packages and MOGRT templates for lower thirds and basic graphics</li><li>
Properly format and prepare content for a variety of digital and linear platforms</li><li>
Create original &amp; creative vertical content for social media platforms</li><li>
Understand export presets, codecs, and delivery specs for broadcast and digital</li><li>
Download, manage, and upload large media files</li><li>
Collaborate with producers across multiple shows and teams</li><li>
Follow direction closely while also making smart creative decisions</li><li>
Identify compelling moments for clips and social cutdowns with an assistant-producer mindset</li><li>
Meet tight daily deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities</li><li>
Communicate clearly and ask proactive, clarifying questions</li><li>
Maintain strong attention to detail and organized project workflows</li><li>
Work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, or during breaking-news windows</li></ul>
WHAT YOU WILL NEED<ul><li>
2+ years of proven experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Strong understanding of broadcast and digital delivery specs</li><li>
Experience creating vertical video and reels for social media</li><li>
Familiarity with MOGRTs and basic graphics workflows</li><li>
High-speed, reliable internet for uploading and downloading large media files</li><li>
Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organized under pressure</li></ul>
