Daily Email Coding 
<ul><li>Code, build and test email communications and push notifications</li><li>Set up, test, QA and launch dynamic content</li><li>Monitor active campaigns daily and quickly troubleshoot to resolve errors</li><li>Design emails and fix issues utilizing HTML/CSS and marketing cloud developer tools</li><li>Refresh and modernize existing email templates on an ad-hoc basis</li><li>Manage calendar across multiple campaigns to ensure on-time delivery, progression of messaging, etc.</li><li>Execute A/B tests to continuously improve performance across email and push notifications</li><li>Serve as MC technical expert to optimize reporting, targeting, acquisition and retention opportunities</li><li>Partner with the team to identify opportunities and new ideas for testing, personalizing, or launching new lifecycle campaigns to increase customer engagement and spend</li><li>Collaborate with technical consultants in the development and integration of new applications</li></ul> 
Triggers and Automations 
<ul><li>Implement lifecycle marketing campaigns and journeys</li><li>Modify automations to improve personalization and further business needs</li><li>Optimize automated segments</li></ul> 
Email Database Management 
<ul><li>Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements</li><li>Manage email database, including merge, purge, dedupe, append, etc</li><li>Work with Data Engineers and vendors to ensure data synchronization with other related databases</li><li>Work with Tech and Data Engineers to ensure data synchronization between internal systems and Salesforce</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience</li><li>1+ years of Salesforce, Tableau, Vidyard, and Excel experience</li><li>1+ years of designing, building, and launching successful email engagement programs, specifically lifecycle/nurture programs experience</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>Experience working with a major brand or entertainment company in project/production management</li><li>Experience using data visualization tools</li></ul>

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). <div>The Wall Street Journal is seeking an energetic and efficient associate news editor to join our Live Journalism team. This editor will work closely with other senior editors in shaping and growing the various franchises programmed by the Live Journalism team, with emphasis on smaller, subscriber events and gatherings that bring our most promising talent closer to our audiences.
Live Journalism at the Journal connects our readers with a diverse slate of industry leaders, thinkers and newsmakers, while igniting conversation across communities online. You will partner with other editors to assist in driving, developing, and distinguishing our event agendas and interviews from the rest.
You will:
<ul><li>Conduct research in a variety of coverage areas across WSJ to pitch themes and topics to be explored at Live Journalism events.</li>
<li>Cultivate relationships with guest speakers and coordinate their appearances at events.</li>
<li>Work with colleagues across our Audience Strategy team to plan and execute a slate of subscriber events hosted by our newsletter authors, columnists and other prominent reporters and editors.</li>
<li>Help cultivate a social media strategy that showcases the range of events and live experiences offered by The Wall Street Journal.</li>
<li>Uphold the highest WSJ journalistic, ethical and legal standards across event programs.</li>
<li>Collaborate with editors and reporters across the newsroom to hone their appearances along with ideal topics to cover on stage.</li>
<li>Pitch strong, actionable ideas for stories, videos and graphics that grow out of - or feed into - events.</li>
</ul>You have:
<ul><li>A solid journalistic background with an interest in multi-platform journalism.</li>
<li>Passionate about the evolving live experience landscape and its growing convergence with media and entertainment.</li>
<li>Not just experience but also enthusiasm for developing social media content for a premier journalism brand.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage the many different stakeholders needed to collaborate on multimedia projects and events.</li>
<li>A high level of energy, creativity and idea generation.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of business, culture and finance, and the various topics and trends that may be driving their coverage.</li>
<li>A knack for picking up the phone or cold-emailing anyone, anywhere.</li>
<li>Outstanding writing, editing and communication skills.</li>
</ul>This position will report to the Deputy Editor of Live Journalism and will be based in our New York office.
