Public health emergency preparedness combines the deeply values-driven work of the public health field with the dynamic intensity of the emergency management field. The Preparedness Section supports the community in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies using a community-based approach and centering equity in process and outcomes. The fifteen staff of the Preparedness Section are driven to deliver our best everyday knowing that in an emergency the health and well-being of the community depends on the effectiveness of the systems, plans, and procedures we establish and maintain.
The Project/Program Manager I (Emergency Preparedness Coordinator) maintains emergency-related IT systems, equipment, checklists and templates, and supports the operations of a physical or virtual emergency operations center during emergencies. They train staff in emergency systems and procedures and help them build response skills. Your work will bring you into contact with groups like King County IT, Public Health Duty Officers, and Public Health radio operators. You will participate in Public Health emergency responses as a member of the Logistics Section. This position is supervised by the Emergency Operations Manager</div>

This position achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account insight within a multi-state territory in the northeast. Identifies solid market segment by effectively selling the company’s catalog and engineered pipe supports, as well our engineered designs and project management related to infrastructure projects. This sales position will also be responsible for personally contacting and securing new business accounts and customers.
 
Essential Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in order to generate new business for the organization’s products and services</li>
<li>Respond to prospective customer inquiries and requests for quotations</li>
<li>Perform business development calls, presentations, and related follow up</li>
<li>Consult with builders on industrial building projects to ensure ideal placement of product</li>
<li>Identify new business opportunities within distribution, end user targets, and large industrial projects</li>
<li>Train end users on C&P’s products and services</li>
<li>Support existing product lines by fielding technical questions from customers</li>
<li>Direct customer interface - daily as well as one to two nights a week - overnight travel is required</li>
