</b></p><p>As an Accountant on our Property Management Client Accounting team, this role will be responsible for the full-cycle of accounting for various commercial real estate properties. The ideal candidate will be service oriented with client satisfaction as a top priority. This role will be positioned for career growth and personal development within our accounting team. This position can be full-time remote or positioned in one of our regional accounting hubs in Pittsburgh or Denver.
</p><p><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
</b></p><ul><li>Prepares all aspects of the financial statement package for a set of commercial properties, including creating and posting journal entries, general ledger review and completion of back up schedules.
</li><li>Partners with property managers to ensure financials are accurate and delivered timely.
</li><li>Ensures all expenses, receipts, distributions, funding requests, and other accounting transactions for the period are accurately completed.
</li><li>Reviews and audits financial information to ensure compliance with established procedures and accounting principles.
</li><li>Responds to and resolves issues and requests from management teams and clients.
</li><li>Follows standard policies and procedures to ensure internal and external reporting requirements are consistently met.
</li><li>Participates in budget and forecasting functions for assigned property portfolio.
</li><li>Serves as the primary accounting point of contact to the clients and property managers for the assigned portfolio.
</li></ul><p><b>SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, related field, or equivalent experience.
</li><li>Minimum of 1-3 years of previous accounting experience.
</li><li>Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
</li><li>Experience with computerized accounting systems, specifically Yardi and/or MRI, a plus but not required.
</li><li>Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
</li><li>Works effectively in a team environment through collaboration and partnership.
</li><li>Customer service-oriented mindset.
</li><li>Ability to analyze and problem solve effectively.
</li><li>Detail oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

Twitch Tax is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to be part of and contribute to our dynamic business. The Tax Senior will be an important contributor to the Tax Team and will help manage our Vertex instance, perform data analysis, compile data for global information reporting and/or tax compliance, support AI and other automation efforts, and contribute to our overall tax compliance and operational excellence. You will report to the Tax Director that leads the tax operations and tax compliance teams. As Twitch continues to grow its live streaming platform with our amazing social community, we are looking for a candidate with project management experience who will support our business and community through deployment of their technical tax knowledge and skills, and collaboration with cross -functional teams.

You Will<br>

<ul><li>Partner with internal business partners on the collection, preparation, and submission of global information reporting forms</li><li>Assist in the maintenance, operation, and configuration of Vertex for Twitch</li><li>Support continuing efforts to incorporate AI and other scalable automation into existing tax compliance and reporting processes</li><li>Partner with Tax Team members on complex data driven projects
</li><li>Assist with other system implementation projects and New Product Initiatives</li><li>Assist in the preparation of Forms 1099 and 1042S</li><li>Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliation of transaction upload reports to revenue reports, and reconciliation of indirect tax accounts for financial reporting
</li><li>Partner with the Tax Team to respond to tax inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal departments
</li><li>Partner with internal business partners on the collection, preparation, and submission of indirect tax, DST, SALT, and other gross receipts or transactional tax compliance as requested</li><li>Help with other ad hoc tax compliance, operations and/or planning projects as requested</li></ul><br>

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field</li><li>Experience in an ERP environment (SAP and/or Oracle)</li><li>4+ years of experience in tax (Big 4 or Tech Industry)</li><li>Significant experience in Vertex (including rule mapping, transaction testing, MDU/SR updates, and systems integration of Vertex)</li><li>Proficiency in Alteryx</li><li>Proficiency with productivity tools (Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace)</li><li>Proficiency with tax research tools (CCH, RIA, and BNA)</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
