We sell anything and everything from fine art, household items, collectibles, etc. to high end furniture and industrial equipment domestically and internationally. Operating throughout the Bay Area has provided us with an abundance of product arriving to be sorted, cleaned and prepped for resale via our online outlets.Who you are: A self-motivated worker able to operate in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift regularly. A penchant and appreciation for finding use and happy homes for used AND new items sourced from antique to modern. Able to align with our company mantra of preventing perfectly good, usable or sentimentally valued items from going to the landfill.We are in need of both specialized and general labor. The job can get physical and we work together to accomplish tasks when needed.Specific qualities desired:-Excited by the prospect of joining a team that is continuing to grow a business.-Self-motivated, able to work in an environment with rapidly changing priorities/day to day tasks.-Intermediate or higher understanding of working on a computer (Mac based, Windows based possible).-Ability to use and navigate resources (internet databases, historical price data, AI) to determine value of items to bring to market and pride in the process of selling the items (salesmanship).-Understanding of the importance of aesthetic and transparent information in selling items using primarily &quot;good faith&quot; tactics (photos/description in most instances).-Salesmanship and pride in the process of taking a viable through the lifecycle of sourced to sold.-Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day, team lift and understanding of employing proper body mechanics. Stand for up to 8 hours a day.-Bonus consideration for specialized skills in diagnosing/resetting tech (computers, audio, etc.), any knowledge of niche item categories we sell a plus.-Appreciation for the company ethos of preventing &quot;refuse&quot; from going to landfill, capitalizing on the opportunity to find buyers for our second hand wares.-Integrity is paramount. Our goal is to further the business by increasing volume and sell through rate. We get cool stuff, being able to quell your own &quot;desire to acquire.&quot; We succeed best with production speed, so being able to prevent being distracted is a must.-Takes ownership of their role as an ambassador for the brand, helps build our reputation as doing good business.Base pay negotiable depending on experience and option to partake in our comission based profit sharing program after 90 days of employment.
