Purpose:
Analysts in Corporate Banking enjoy a stimulating and challenging work environment in which they execute a broad range of transactions and projects.  KYC Analyst Level 1 &ndash; Compensation Range $ 70 - 90k
 
 
 JOB SUMMARY: The KYC Analyst reports to the Head, KYC/EDD and is responsible for performing KYC reviews of new and existing Foreign Correspondent Banks and Corporate customers with accuracy quality and timely according to established bank KYC policy and procedures.
 
 
 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
 
 &bull; Conduct KYC due diligence on new and existing Foreign Correspondent Baking (FCB) and corporate customers in connection with onboarding and KYC refresh / reassessment inclusive of transactional review.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure client-vetting data and document processing comply with applicable AML/BSA regulations and UBA America KYC Policy and Procedures. &bull; Perform basic, additional and enhanced due diligence (EDD) KYC reviews for new and existing customers. &bull; Perform OFAC and adverse-media screening and determine appropriate compliance action based on information available.
 
 
 &bull; Perform other due diligence processes by researching/gathering client information, utilizing online sources such Customer Website, Regulator&rsquo;s, Google Search, Google Maps, Lexis-Nexis and World Check.
 
 
 &bull; Maintain accurate and complete files for all reviewed client documentation.
 
 
 &bull; Stay abreast of current industry trends and AML requirements.
 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
 &bull; Experience:
 
 
 o Minimum 3 years of relevant KYC experience preferably in a bank of a foreign banking organization with a Focus on Correspondent Banking.

 o Knowledge of regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act (including the USA PATRIOT Act), OFAC sanctions programs, etc.
 
 
 o Strong knowledge of KYC requirements for foreign financial institutions and trade finance counterparties.
 
 
 &bull; General:
 
 
 o Detail oriented individual with analytical skills, ability to conduct in-depth research and possess strong communication skills.
 
 
 o Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
 
 
 o Must be well-organized and capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
 
 
 o Ability to prioritize and use sound judgment.
 
 
 &bull; Education &amp; Qualifications:
 
 
 o Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required.
 
 
 o ACAMS certification and membership.
 
 
 &bull; PC skills:
 
 
 o Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; Lexis-Nexis, World-Check, Banker&rsquo;s Almanac, etc.
 
 
 o Strong internet search capabilities.
