About us: Serving inspired and traditional mid-Atlantic seafood, including Maryland classics and New England favorites, along with a spectacular a la carte raw bar, on the historic Thames Street waterfront. This position is onsite, 2 days a week, sometimes 3, and remote candidates will not be considered.
As an AP/AR and Administrative Assistant, you will play an integral role in assisting with the behind the scenes operations of a busy, popular restaurant. AP/AR, office management, and general support and other administrative projects will be your daily tasks. In additional to entering and paying bills, you will keep supplies ordered, help to onboard new employees, track insurance, and some other HR tasks. Payroll will become a responsibility eventually as well. This role will require working with other team members and across departments daily, but the majority of your time and work is self-directed. You must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have the UTMOST integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail. These qualities are essential to who we are and how we operate. Being well written is extremely important as well due to ongoing correspondence representing the business. 
 
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Input, update, and maintain data in QuickBooks ensuring accuracy</li><li>
AP/AR entries and payments including time sensitive liquor invoicing and applicable communications with companies
</li><li>Oversee upkeep of maintenance projects and contracts, such as AED monthly checks, coordinate tradesmen, liquor license renewal, preventative maintenance contracts and scheduling
</li><li>Some supplies and weekly linens inventory, tracking, ordering
</li><li>Other duties as assigned to support the owner and leadership teams
</li><li>Track and enter data for various projects
</li><li>Assist employees with small HR tasks as requested</li><li>
