What could a day in the life of an Area Sales Lead at Industrious look like?
While no two days will ever be the same, here&rsquo;s what a day could look like!
Your first meeting of the day is an in-person tour with a high-growth tech company&rsquo;s CEO, who is interested in a 10-desk office. She&rsquo;s particularly keen to learn more about our health and safety policy post COVID, and the speed of our WiFi. You are able to answer all her questions on the spot and it&rsquo;s a roaring success!
Your next meeting is with our listing brokers to review their pipelines. We&rsquo;re about to open a new location next month and we still need a big push to hit our opening occupancy target.
After lunch, you have blocked out 2 hours on your calendar to review your sales pipeline. You start by following up on last week's tours to try and close those sales. Then it's time to call 10 new leads that our BD team has passed you, to fill your tour schedule up for later in the week.
Once you&rsquo;ve organized your pipeline, and hopefully with a spring in your step after closing that big deal, you meet with the Member Experience Manager at one of your locations. You&rsquo;re planning an event for local business leaders to raise awareness about Industrious and need to confirm logistics and attendance numbers.
Your day ends with a meeting with your Regional Sales Manager to go over your sales pipeline and forecast (and tell them all about your big win from earlier!)

Pipeline Management - from the initial call, through touring and to close, your conversion rates are high and you rarely lose a sale.</li><li>

Initiatives that you drive have a big impact on sales - that new initiative that you piloted in your area to drive sales is a slam dunk and the Head of Sales asks you to help roll it out across the whole network!</li><li>

Compensation and Benefits
The annual total compensation range for this role, including bonus, is between $110,000 and $115,000. The successful candidate's actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job related knowledge, skills and professional qualifications.
Financial compensation is just one component of Industrious&rsquo; total compensation package that may be available to employees. Managing Sales Activities
<ul><li>Manages the catering sales efforts for the hotel including local and group/convention business.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Solicits/books local catering business and develops group business.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develops and manages catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provides forecasting reports.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Works with the management team to create and implement a catering sales/marketing plan addressing revenue, customers and market.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Develops menus that drive sales.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists with selling, implementation and follow-through of catering promotions.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Executes and supports Marriott&rsquo;s Customer Service Standards and hotel&rsquo;s Brand Standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).</li></ul>

<ul><li>Coordinates and deploys catering sales resources on-property to establish pull-through and sustainment of catering sales strategies and selling solutions. Develops a close working relationship with operations to execute strategies at the hotel level.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Verifies that the property implements a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriate stakeholders.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses and providing a return on investment for the owner and Marriott International.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Implements the brand&rsquo;s service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process.</li></ul>

We are looking for someone to join the sales team in a sales support function. You will get to know the sales process as well as learn about our market leading diverse products by supporting the Global sales team. You will provide full administration to the team including submission of sales orders, recording updates on the CRM system, always ensuring accuracy and speed.
Role &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Responsibility for providing administrative support to the Global Sales Team.</li>
<li>Support Field Sales with the contract administration process including but not limited to creating new contracts for new customers and amending or correcting existing contracts &ndash; ensuring that all data is correctly input into the relevant CRM system and processed completely through to final billing stage (chasing POs, signed contacts, payment details, etc.)</li>
<li>Lead Validation &amp; Distribution &ndash; Validate inbound leads via phone, chat line or email and, based on the lead validation guidance set by the sales organization, assign the lead to the appropriate sales rep for follow up.</li>
<li>When necessary, be the coordinator between the sales rep and corporate legal in situations where legal input is required (i.e., redlining of agreements).</li>
<li>Working with the current processes in place within the teams and reviewing ways of improving them</li>
<li>Work closely with Sales Reps, order management team, billing, etc. to ensure sales are accurately recorded and reported in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>Knowledge and Experience
<ul><li>Ability to handle a busy workload in a calm and professional manner being Proactive/Solution oriented</li>
<li>Excellent Interpersonal skills &ndash; ability to interact with variety of different personalities, not afraid to challenge for follow up information &ndash; Both written and verbal</li>

<li>Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite required</li>
