</p><p>As a <b>Security Officer Part Time Patrol</b> in <b>New York, NY</b>, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Fixed-Shift Commitment (&ldquo;Anchor Shifts&rdquo;):</b> You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.</li><li><b>
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:</b> In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It&rsquo;s all up to you.</li></ul><p>
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.</li><li>
Respond to incidents, maintenance-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.</li><li>
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.</li><li>
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and compliance with property rules and security-related procedures.</li><li>
Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and relay important information during shift changes to help support continuity of operations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>
Customer service experience is preferred.</li><li>
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li><li>
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li><li>
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li><li>
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li><li>
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li><li>
