We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable professional to join our U.S. Structured Notes team. The Director, Structured Note Sales will be responsible for originating, structuring and distributing structured notes solutions to U.S.-based clients, with a strong emphasis on expanding platform penetration among broker-dealers and RIAs. What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Drive structured note sales and issuance across U.S. broker-dealers and RIAs, with defined targets for onboarding new platforms and expanding distribution reach</li>

Purpose: The Associate Director, Equity Sales will contribute to the overall success of the U.S. Equities business in the U.S. based in New York, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team&rsquo;s business strategies and objectives. Strong understanding of financial market, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in Spanish or French is desirable, but not required.</li>

Purpose: 
As an Associate Director, Treasury Management Officer (TMO) you will partner closely with Corporate &amp; Investment Bankers (CIBs) while managing a specific portfolio with annual revenues greater than $2 billion. You&rsquo;ll serve as a trusted advisor and single point of contract across all markets, offering dedicated Global Transaction Banking (GTB) coverage for all products. TMOs will be organized by industry sector and coordinate the overall GTB relationship with in-country subsidiary coverage to provide a consistent and simplified client experience. By leveraging your expertise in global liquidity management, payables and receivables optimization, alternative and emerging payments, foreign exchange, working capital solutions, and digital transformation, you&rsquo;ll strengthen existing connections, prospect new ones and introduce clients to strategic partners as you deliver Scotiabank&rsquo;s global value proposition and local transaction banking platform. 


Accountabilities:&middot;

<li>Growing relationship revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new transaction banking business while retaining and expanding existing client relationships.</li>
<li>Manage relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, VPs of Finance, and Controllers, to provide integrated transaction banking solutions within a consultative and client driven framework.</li>
<li>Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects, and clients, in collaboration with solution/product partners on all transaction banking related topics at client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and client events.</li>
<li>Coordinate with solutions specialists to deliver a seamless end to end client experience and lead business process reviews aligned to key client sales opportunities.</li>
<li>Partner with internal product stakeholders to represent client perspectives in the development and evolution of products and solutions .</li>
<li>Collaborate with key partners including Group Treasury, Global Risk Management, Capital Markets, Corporate &amp; Investment Banking, Global Operations, Fulfillment and Servicing.</li>
<li>Coaching and developing junior talent.</li></ul> 


Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>The position will be client facing with ongoing deliverables with tight deadlines</li>
<li>3-5 years of transaction banking experience incl. global cash management, liquidity management, trade &amp; working capital solutions, and / or corporate banking or global banking experience.</li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of transaction banking products, credit and risk processes and pricing philosophy.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with a track record in building relationships with clients and prospects.</li>
<li>Proven negotiation and active listening skills. Critical and strategic thinking.</li>
<li>Concern and regard for managing operational and enterprise risk.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals as a proven top individual contributor.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, MBA or equivalent</li>
<li>Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation an asset</li>
