</p><p>The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Supervisor in establishing, implementing, and continually improving the performance of the Quality Management System.</p><p><b>
Primary Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Interface with Sales, Materials, Engineering, Production and Customers to ensure applicable requirements and customer expectations are being fully understood and satisfied.</li><li>
Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of our customers and the Quality Management System.</li><li>
Resolve and prevent the reoccurrence of various quality issues relative to product, process, customer complaints, and quality system requirements.</li><li>
Develop and maintain project quality documentation such as supplements, records, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Manufacturing Procedure Specifications (MPS), etc.</li><li>
Supporting the processes of planning, organizing, and managing all project quality related activities including release of clear instructions to production and QC personnel.</li><li>
Analyzing the need for and managing correction actions for process related concerns, negative trends in business metrics, and product nonconformances using appropriate analytical tools.</li><li>
Assist in the development and maintenance of procedures within the Quality Management System.</li></ul><p><b>
Education / Experience</b></p><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED is required.</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Quality, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.</li><li>
5-10 years related experience in manufacturing or similar field where the reading and interpretation of technical requirements was a routine task of the position.</li><li>
Experience working under an ISO-9001 certified QMS or similar Standard is required.</li><li>
Experience in supplying materials to the nuclear industry is a plus.</li></ul><p>
