The Fabrication Lead directs the fabrication and assembly of pipe products.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul><li>Fabricate pipes to required customizations</li>
<li>Manage all Work Orders associated with fabrication</li>
<li>Supervises work team in the planning and execution of a wide variety of fabrication.</li>
<li>Plans resource requirements based on Work Orders and production plan.</li>
<li>Fosters a spirit of teamwork within the department.</li>
<li>Tracks, assigns, and monitors work orders.</li>
<li>Ensure timeliness, safety and quality of material movement.</li>
<li>Responsible for safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring work crews follow safe practices and HSE programs, including Lock-out Tag-out.</li>
<li>In conjunction with the Production Supervisor and EHS Manager, trains employees on changes in safety regulations, work policies, and standards.</li>
<li>Develops skills and abilities of team members.</li>
<li>Ensures all department employees complete required training.</li>
<li>Any other duties as assigned by TAS.</li>

</ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
<ul><li>Work performed in a non-climate-controlled shop environment</li>
<li>Exposed to any number of elements such as hot and cold temperatures, but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable</li>
<li>Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods throughout the workday, up to 10 hours per day (with a lunch break in between), up to 6 days per week</li>
<li>Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach (forward and overhead), and maintain balance.</li>
<li>Occasional sitting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be required</li>
<li>Frequent bending at the waist and twisting movements are required</li>
<li>Physical effort includes frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds, including lifting from floor to shoulder height and from waist to shoulder height</li>
