<p>This internship is located in the Communications and Marketing Department, Immediate Office, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), U.S. House of Representatives (House). The Communications and Marketing team brands, communicates, and markets CAO services and resources to the House community. Communications and Marketing works directly with the CAO&rsquo;s business units and stakeholders to provide communications support for CAO services provided to House offices, including the development and execution of communications plans and marketing materials geared toward Member, Committee, and Leadership offices. <p>This paid internship is located in the Customer Experience Center of the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), U.S. House of Representatives (House), is appointed on a temporary basis for a period not to exceed 120 days. Interns will be provided a structured educational opportunity through exposure to the business operations of the U.S. House of Representatives. This position will be provided the opportunity to rotate through different assignments to gain real life experience for their degree, certification, or professional development. The position does not have day to day supervisory/managerial responsibilities.</p>

<p>Established in January 2022, the CAO&rsquo;s House Digital Service (HDS) helps solve the unique technology challenges experienced by Member, Committee, and Leadership offices in Congress. From application design and development to data analysis and identifying the latest technological solutions, HDS's mission is to make sure the People&rsquo;s House is working efficiently for the American people.</p>
<p>HDS interns will assist the small and agile HDS team in their work, including research, design, implementation, coding, and testing of various technology solutions for congressional offices. HDS interns will learn what it's like to work with a modern, agile, user-focused, transparent, and collaborative development team.</p>
