Do you love working with kids? Do you want to pick up extra babysitting gigs that fit into your schedule? HeyCurated is a third-party back-up care provider and we are looking for experienced nannies and babysitters who want to pick up extra work as a back-up caregiver in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.Caregiver responsibilities include:<ul><li>Provide customized and personalized childcare for children in their home, including meal prep &amp; feed kiddos (including bottle-feeding infants), changing diapers, proactively engaging children with activities and play, and keeping children&rsquo;s area neat and tidy.</li><li>Communicate with parents/guardians and follow their instructions on care delivered through the session.</li><li>Create a safe, nurturing environment for children, usually ages 3 months to 11 years old</li></ul>*Qualifications:<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old and have professional experience working with children ages 3 months and up. Must have infant experience.</li><li>Availability to work in shifts, full days (Monday thru Friday), occasional half days.</li><li>Availability to work 5+ sessions a month.  At Garden Spot Village, our At Home Caregivers provide direct in-home care and services to individuals enrolled in Garden Spot Village at Home. This position supports personal care, daily living activities, and agreed-upon domestic tasks while promoting safety, independence, and comfort for each client.  What You&rsquo;ll Do

 Comply with established policies, procedures, and standards, including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct
 </li>

 Follow Residents&rsquo; Rights policies at all times
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a positive attitude and uphold standards of good caregiving practice
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist clients in a manner conducive to their safety, comfort, and independence
 </li>
 <li>
 Report any unusual observations or conditions to the Coordinator of GSV At Home or Assistant Coordinator/Scheduler
 </li>
 <li>
 Practice safety for self and clients and report any unsafe conditions
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow the established care plan for each assigned client
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist, as contracted, with clients&rsquo; personal possessions, home environment, meal preparation and feeding, appointment scheduling and reminders, and other services listed in the care plan
 </li>

 Provide personal care as contracted, including assistance with bathing, continence care, oral hygiene, hair grooming, dressing, shaving, and nail care
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate dependability and punctuality by coming to work as scheduled

 Attend all in-services and training sessions relevant to the position
 </li>

 Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
