KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</h2><ul><li>
Support the creation of business development content and insights for pitches, relationship building and strategic account planning.</li><li>
Assist in the creation of tailored pitch decks and client-facing business development materials, based on a solid understanding of the potential client/client&rsquo;s industry, including function specific information regarding the &ldquo;value proposition&rdquo; (strategy, competitive landscape, culture insights, etc.). Develop insightful and sophisticated presentation materials in partnership with consultants, Client Development Director and/or cross-function client development teams.</li><li>
Carry out research and analysis and liaise with consultants and client development team to support the creation and presentation of talent insights and market trends across all stages of prospecting &ndash; from new leads to competitive presentations.</li><li>
Assist in managing the practice&rsquo;s knowledge infrastructure and content libraries. Help maintain tools and systems to assist in centralizing and organizing business development materials and presentations, credential lists, case studies, etc.</li><li>
Share learnings from pitches and business development initiatives across the Client Development Team (CDT) to ensure we are continuously refining and improving our processes, responsiveness and pitch effectiveness.</li><li>
Respond to content queries received from consultants and teams and deliver resources that prepare them for success.</li><li>
Conduct research to support the creation of intellectual capital/value adding thought pieces.</li><li>
Use quantitative and qualitative information to clearly communicate and present data/details, as part of building talent insights, market trends and thought pieces.</li><li>
Develop a solid understanding of relevant functions, as well as the firm&rsquo;s service offerings and the &ldquo;SSI value proposition&rdquo; (differentiation, competitive landscape, strengths, and weaknesses). Synthesize information accurately, so that it is easily incorporated into readable, client-ready documents, pitches and RFPs.</li><li>
Monitor and track relevant market developments within relevant functions, including competitive intelligence, company updates, and executive transitions across the Americas, as part of proactive business development initiatives.</li><li>
When supporting executive recruitment initiatives, deliver targeted research and analytical support on select executive search assignments. This includes conducting market mapping, candidate research, and preparing candidate-facing as well as client-ready materials, working closely in partnership with consultants and associates.</li></ul>

The base compensation for this position is $80,000 per year. The actual base compensation offered will be dependent on the individual&rsquo;s skills, experiences, and qualifications. This position will be eligible to participate in our annual discretionary bonus program.

Position Overview:
Zifo North America is seeking a Senior Scientific Business Systems Analyst (Senior BSA) to support strategic R&amp;D initiatives for pharmaceutical, biotech, and related life sciences customers. This role is responsible for independently leading low-to-medium-complexity business analysis engagements while collaborating closely with customer stakeholders and Zifo&rsquo;s global delivery teams.
The Senior BSA plays a critical role in driving project success by translating scientific and business needs into actionable requirements, guiding informatics and data-driven solutions, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex R&amp;D environments. This position requires strong scientific domain expertise, consulting acumen, and hands-on experience delivering informatics and data projects in regulated and non-regulated research settings.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting &amp; Business Analysis<ul><li>
Lead and execute business analysis activities across R&amp;D-focused projects with minimal supervision.</li><li>
Review and analyze existing business processes, systems, and data flows to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.</li><li>
Conduct voice-of-the-customer sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to elicit and prioritize requirements.</li><li>
Perform gap analysis and define future-state process workflows, data models, and system interactions.</li><li>
Develop and review core deliverables including User Requirements Specifications (URS), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), workflows, implementation roadmaps, gap analysis reports, and training materials.</li><li>
Evaluate industry trends and leading practices in scientific informatics to recommend optimized future-state solutions.</li><li>
Support vendor evaluations and contribute to implementation strategies for small to mid-size life sciences organizations.</li><li>
Contribute to regulatory and data integrity assessments (including GxP where applicable) and support remediation of compliance gaps.</li></ul>
Project Execution &amp; Delivery<ul><li>
Manage one or more small projects or modules within larger programs, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and quality.</li><li>
Perform project management activities including effort estimation, task planning, scheduling, and risk assessment.</li><li>
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks; proactively address issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.</li><li>

Requirements 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
