This is a fabulous opportunity for a recent MSW graduate interested in working with children in a therapeutic setting. You’ll be responsible for completing psychosocial assessments and providing mental health counseling and crisis intervention services to children and their families.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Coordinator.
 
 
We are seeking a motivated, detailed-oriented Research Coordinator to join our dynamic human neuroscience laboratory. The candidate will join an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, neuroscientists, engineers, and data scientists to describe the underpinnings of human episodic memory function and its dysfunction and translating these findings for patient benefit. Our research combines naturalistic memory behaviors with direct recordings from the human brain at the single unit and local population level. We primarily work with epilepsy patients in the surgical inpatient setting as well as patients with implanted chronic brain recordings (RNS, NeuroPace Inc.). Some of the research tools we use are eye-tracking, pupillometry, head movements, first- and third-person video, GPS precision, speech analysis, and micro-macro wire recordings. Our lab collaborates with basic, cognitive, and computational neuroscientists on a shared mission to translate basic and cognitive neuroscience insights to improve human memory health. 
The ideal candidate will carry out all administrative and patient-facing activities (recruitment, consent, and data collection) without direction. S/he will contribute intellectually and socially to the lab culture and pursue their own independent scientific project within the lab.

formulary matrix performance reporting and responds to alerts to perform drug mapping, execute on penny buys, and
 
maintain processes for revenue-integrity analytics. Other key areas of focus include conversion factor maintenance, file
 
extractions &amp; connectivity (ongoing support), IT/Epic/Willow support, general reporting and monitoring, compliance (GPO
 
Prohibition), reimbursement and cost report collaboration, assessing current and future opportunities, and inventory

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain pharmacy acquisition, WAC and 340B costs and assists in charge configuration reviews with revenue cycle and Willow teams. This will require routine consult with the pharmacy purchasing staff and the pharmacy drug wholesaler to ensure accurate pricing and purchase unit configuration in all related electronic billing systems. Investigates and resolves 340B, GPO, and WAC pricing discrepancies with drug wholesalers and further pursues resolution with other resources as necessary. Monitors for potential drug supply chain issues, wastage and shrinkage, revenue integrity, billing, and mismatches between clinical and financial charge databases. Utilizes the TPA to identify and optimize revenue opportunities by executing orders for Penny Buys (340B). Performs billing quality assurance (QA) before and after price uploads, as well as when new medications are approved by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (P&amp;T). Assists and supports pharmacy drug file maintenance. Supports related pharmacy applications (Electronic Health Record, automation technology, etc.) including, but not limited to, system upgrade and maintenance, which may require working during off hours. Prepares system generated report to support pharmacy operations and is available for system troubleshooting and downtimes. Supports the auditing process required for program compliance and reporting. Assists and supports employee training for systems utilization and adaptation. Supports a non-punitive reporting approach when medication variances are identified as due to an individual/group involvement. Provides tools and coaching sessions, when necessary, to establish an environment for improvement. Act as a liaison to the TPA, other vendors, consultants, and pharmacy. Attend meetings as required. Since 2016, Correctional Health Services (CHS) has been the direct provider of health care in the New York City jails. Deeply committed to human dignity and patient rights, CHS is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals system and is a key partner in the City&rsquo;s efforts to reform the criminal-legal system. Our in-jail clinical services include medical, nursing, and mental health care; pharmacy services; substance-use treatment; social work; dental and vision care; discharge planning; and reentry support.
Position Overview
Under supervision of the Site Medical Director, the Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive, compassionate, and thoughtful care to our patients in the New York City jail system. The Physician Assistant will provide general primary care including conducting histories and physicals, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and evaluating the need for consult services
Responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Evaluate the need for consult services and submit the prioritized consult when indicated.</li><li>
Complete comprehensive histories and physicals on all new admissions including documentation of problem list, diagnosis, orders (e.g. labs, imaging and referrals) and ordering appropriate medications where applicable.</li><li>
Evaluate patients requesting sick call, schedule follow-ups and update medication orders.</li><li>
Update problem lists and reconcile patient orders at all visits.</li><li>
Implement plans for patientcare utilizing protocols approved by the Medical Director and/or treatment plans reflecting the current standard of care.</li><li>
Request radiology exams, lab tests, EKGs when clinically indicated and interpret these results based on clinical findings and in consultation with supervisors where appropriate.</li><li>
Review all specialty consults and hospital returns to ensure that the standard of care is met and recommendations of the consultant are implemented.</li><li>
Perform chart reviews and summaries for patients transferring facilities including updating problem lists, rewriting medication orders, and reconciling orders and consults as needed.</li><li>
Generate special needs referrals and documentation as needed (for patients with (disabilities, dietary restrictions, heat sensitivity, or other relevant flags).</li><li>
Teach patients about their medical conditions and treatments; counsel on risks and benefits of different treatment decisions; witness, sign, and document patient refusals of care.</li><li>
Ensure that all progress notes and orders are signed before the end of the shift.</li><li>
Respond to emergencies in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>
Notify the staff MD and Urgicare about 3 hour runs and EMS activation.</li><li>
Complete special housing rounds when assigned.</li><li>
Be familiar with quality of care and population health indicators. Take appropriate action to meet</li><li>
or exceed standards.</li><li>
Maintain clinical competency by participating in all CME and CHS training and in-service requirements.</li><li>
Maintain your schedule as directed with particular attention to punctuality and timely notification of absences.</li><li>
Adhere to policies and procedures of CHS and be familiar with them by reviewing them as needed.</li><li>
Complete tasks as delegated by a Site Medical Director or other supervising clinical team member.</li><li>
Maintain and provide documentation of all required credentials.</li><li>

3. One (1) year of full-time, satisfactory clinical experience as a Physician Assistant; and
 
4. Possession of a valid Life Support certification (e.g., Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)) is required in the appropriate practice area through the American Heart Association (AHA) within sixty (60) calendar days of appointment to the title.

The overall purpose of the Behavioral Health Advocate (BHA) is to improve the enrollee's ability to remain stable in the community and out of the hospital. BHAs engage people in the treatment process and assist them to access the appropriate community services so they can pursue their treatment goals in the community and avoid institutionalization. This position is also designed to be a direct clinical liaison between health plan staff and the clinical network. This is a field-based position in Manhattan providing case management / care coordination for adults enrolled in the Medicaid program. You will spend 80% of the time meeting with members at hospitals, clinical facilities, community sites, and/or their homes. The remaining 20% is telephonic work at home. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm - no weekends, evenings, or holidays. Due to business needs, current residency in or near Manhattan is required.
