 The Clinical Research Coordinator, Part-time performs all the regular duties of a Clinical Research Coordinator, but due to abbreviated hours doesn't qualify for exemption. This is an hourly position which is eligible for overtime only intended to be used for part-time employees. The Clinical Research Coordinator assists in the daily activities of clinical research studies, obtains informed consent; collects, maintains and organizes study information. Assists in preparing grant applications and documents (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).

About the Team:
Responsible for the overall relationship management of client accounts and day-to-day activities. Responsible for ensuring that Medidata is able to deliver quality projects and services on time and within budget through effective management of Medidata resources.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Competent in Medidata systems and processes, with working knowledge of Patient Experience products</li><li>
Complete standard project tasks without assistance, including but not limited to creation and maintenance of accurate and current study documentation</li><li>
Manage a full portfolio of studies across various stages and complexities with a focus on delivery of the scope on time, within budget and with a high quality outcome</li><li>
Collaborate with cross functional teams by providing Patient Experience subject matter expertise and leading end to end project delivery of Patient Experience products</li><li>
Lead internal/external meetings independently ensuring key project milestones remain on track and meeting minutes/action items are accurately captured</li><li>
Apply proven project management principles to proactively assess risk, develop and communicate mitigation strategy focusing on preserving quality to manage intermediate challenges and ensure timely resolutions</li><li>
Management of client expectations for Patient Experience products and services</li><li>
Collaborate with the Professional Services Project Manager by helping to accurately forecast Patient Experience specific Professional Services hours required for the duration of the study</li><li>
Raise Patient Experience specific work requests to other departments for tasks to be completed where appropriate</li><li>
Conduct lessons learned meetings internally and externally</li><li>
Participates in internal initiatives to completion in support of team goals</li><li>
Interact with new hires on team activities at same level or below</li><li>
Work with Associate Project Manager to monitor delegated tasks</li><li>
Assure compliance with Medidata's standard project management methodologies and Medidata SOPs</li></ul></div><div>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Strong understanding of clinical research (pharma, device and/or biotech sectors) and of Clinical Research SaaS technology</li><li>
Experience working with eCOA/ePRO, eConsent, Virtual Trials or Wearable Sensors preferred</li><li>
Able to demonstrate good verbal/written communication combined with some organizational skills</li><li>
Experience in Client Services or a client facing role and able to demonstrate a customer first attitude through work</li><li>
Exhibit time management skills combined with strong collaboration and team-building awareness</li><li>
Experience in managing project timelines and risk assessment would be advantageous</li><li>
Able to support project teams, promote unity and teamwork</li><li>
Self motivated and able to assume responsibility in a professional manner</li><li>
Able to recognise achievements and provide constructive feedback</li><li>
Is proficient in the use of all relevant Medidata internal systems</li><li>
Can demonstrate some computing skills and has experience with MS Office suite and Google Workspace</li><li>
Is able to demonstrate presentation and soft skills</li><li>
Travel expectations 10% - 20%, national / international</li><li>
Valid driver's license required</li><li>
4 -year college degree or equivalent (analytic discipline a plus) preferred</li><li>
1-3 years relevant experience in clinical/biomedical and/ or software development</li></ul>
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.<ul><li>
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $79,500.00 to 106,000.00</li><li>
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the California Bay Area is $84,000.00 to 112,000.00</li><li>
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the Boston Metro Area is $78,000.00 to 104,000.00</li><li>
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in Texas or Ohio is $70,125.00 to 93,500.00</li><li>
The salary range for positions that will be physically based in all other locations within the United States is $71,250.00 to 95,000.00</li></ul>
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. Salary Pay Transparency</div><div>
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be:
