 The Role
 
 
 
 You will serve as the Editor for Secret NYC, reporting directly to the Managing Editor for the region. In this role, your responsibilities will include:

 Finding brilliant stories and generating lots of content ideas (not just articles!) for the NYC market
 </li>
 <li>
 Writing engaging, accurate and informative articles, at pace, about those topics
 </li>

 Monitor all site content, including daily news, features, and local reporting

 Have a strong grasp of the city culture and things to do in NYC
 </li>

 Manage an editorial calendar with colleagues that incorporates news, reviews, and local city content including planning for longer lead functions, trending stories, and campaigns.

 Occasional appearances across Reels, TikTok, consumer-facing videos and other brand mediums.

 <li>
 Oversee the creation and strategy of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Secret NYC newsletters, keeping in line with SMN standards.

 Make sure all site copy and headlines are proofread, meeting our editorial standards and style guide.

 Make sure all posts are SEO friendly
 </li>

 Conduct keyword research to track performance as well as identify new content opportunities

 Manage a small but growing team of enthusiastic local writers, video producers, and social media creatives

 Liaise with the Secret NYC team and regional Managing Editor to share weekly feedback, best practices, and share strategic input from NY

 Analyze said metrics and content performance, gleaning insights and applying learnings to better inform future content

 Work with other colleagues, teams and departments to create strategic content opportunities
 </li>

 Track openings and develop sources including PR reps, restaurateurs, local venues and event spaces, and alternate sources for coverage as needed

 Who You Are:

 You have 3+ years experience working for a newsroom, content agency, creative agency, or digital media property.

 You have a proficient level of English. A second language is a plus for us, but not necessary.

Job Description 
The Photographer/Editor is responsible for shooting and editing all elements of stories used in Telemundo broadcasts utilizing the highest level of technical standards.
Job Duties:<ul><li>
Creatively visualizes stories told by Correspondents and Producers utilizing HD camera, creative lighting, expert sound, and on-air communications.</li><li>
Utilizes cellular bonded transmission equipment (ex. LiveU) and is responsible for being able to run a live broadcast scenario.</li><li>
Responsible for photographing and editing feature stories on a tight deadline.</li><li>
Collaborates with Producers and Correspondents for series, special reports, breaking news, and/or long form content.</li><li>
Assists Correspondents and Producers in the pre-production and post-production process.</li><li>
Responsible for always maintaining equipment and resources in good working conditions as well as keep an updated inventory of equipment.</li><li>
Responsible for operating a crew vehicle.</li><li>
Creates pack list and a manifest of equipment being deployed domestically and internationally.</li><li>
Responsible for operating a crew vehicle.</li><li>
Maintains a good standard with all administrative tasks as it relates to travel, expenses, media file workflows, and telecommunication tools.</li><li>
Responsible for delivering content utilizing defined media standards and transfer practices across all video and audio material.</li><li>
Works under the direct supervision of the Manager, Field Operations and is responsible for completing other tasks as assigned.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
Basic Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum 5 years of experience working as Photographer/Camera Operator in the field</li><li>
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Editor</li><li>
Proven experience managing and/or assisting live transmissions via bonded cellular (ex LiveU), satellite trucks or local microwave</li><li>
Prior experience and thorough understanding on how to send stories via file transfer (ex latakoo, media shuttle) and via bonded cellular technology</li><li>
Proven proficiency using Avid 6.0 Media composer and Mac operating system</li><li>
Proven proficiency using Sony HD series professional broadcast cameras including FX9 and FX3</li><li>
Proven experience and proficiency in managing on air lighting and shot composition</li><li>
Basic understanding of audio and on-air communication principles (ex In-ear, microphone placement, Etc.)</li><li>
Basic understanding of broadcast signal flow.</li><li>
Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)</li><li>
Proficient in Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Yammer, Stream, and Teams) and other related tools.</li><li>
Must be able to perform job at various locations interior and outside work environment with varying weather conditions.</li></ul>

The Page Six video team is seeking a Lead Video Editor who will help us make existing series and compelling, shareable videos about celebrities, and fashion - subjects that are the mainstay of the nation&rsquo;s most iconic gossip column. You should love celebrity journalism and possess deep knowledge about the latest celebrity gossip, trends, feuds, and hookups. You should live and breathe celebrity lifestyle, fashion and social media, with your fingers on the pulse.
You&rsquo;ll work in an extremely fast-paced environment enabling producers to hit
production targets and goals. You&rsquo;ll be the lead editor for the most important Page Six video series, both the audience favorites and the branded content as well. You&rsquo;ll help create sizzles and other marketing assets as needed. You&rsquo;ll supervise the rest of the editors, giving them creative notes, video editing workflow best practices, troubleshooting problems and overall quality control. You&rsquo;ll coordinate media backups with our production management team. And work with our team and creative director to have graphic guidelines as well as create custom graphics and thumbnails to help click through rates. You must edit fast and with a flourish. Expertise with key products in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects) as well as Adobe graphic templates.
