 Social Media Manager
 
 to lead social strategy, content development, and output for select clients. The ideal candidate is a proven strategic and innovative thinker that can bring ideas to life across social platforms in a creative way. This role requires an elevated level of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and operational leadership, with a strong ability to independently drive campaigns from concept through execution. Reporting to the Associate Director of Social Media, the Social Media Manager is a full-time exempt position that is based in New York City.
 
 
 
 WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead social media strategy, content development, and execution across multiple client accounts
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as a strategic partner to clients, providing recommendations, insights, and education on social media best practices and emerging trends
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop social marketing strategies, content calendars, KPIs, and measurement frameworks that support client goals
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with creative, media, and client services teams to bring innovative, audience-first campaigns to life
 </li>

 Create and oversee engaging social content, including photo, video, and short-form content tailored to platform-specific best practices

 Capture content on-site as needed, including rehearsals, performances, events, and other key campaign moments

 Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and communicate results and recommendations to clients

 WHO WE&rsquo;RE LOOKING FOR:

 3 - 6 years of professional experience in social media, content marketing, or communications, preferably within the entertainment, arts, cultural, or live events sectors. Agency experience preferred

 <li>
 Proven ability to independently lead social strategy and execution across multiple accounts with minimal oversight
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of social media platforms, their advertising tools, rules of engagement, and emerging trends, with a demonstrated ability to translate this knowledge into innovative campaigns.

 <li>
 Strong conceptual and creative instincts, with a track record of developing culturally relevant, audience-first ideas that perform
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with mobile-first content creation, including iPhone filming, short-form video editing, and design tools such as Canva or platform-native editing suites

 Fluency in social trends, formats, and storytelling techniques, including a strong grasp of visual and verbal hooks that drive engagement
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and creative ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and senior stakeholders

 Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously

 Demonstrated ability to mentor and collaborate with junior team members, contributing positively to team growth and culture

 The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $66,300 to $85,000 per year.
 
 
 The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate&rsquo;s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience. The Social Media Partnerships Manager will own and execute high-impact branded social campaigns from concept through publication. Reporting into the Social Partnerships lead, this role blends creative production, client services and operational oversight in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment.

What You'll Do:

<li>Campaign Ownership &amp; Production
<ul><li>Lead end-to-end execution of branded social campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms.</li>
<li>Manage timelines, approvals, asset delivery and cross-functional coordination from kickoff through post-campaign reporting.</li>
<li>Write and edit scripts that translate partner messaging into platform-native storytelling tailored to the TPG audience.</li>
<li>Direct on-camera talent and ensure final deliverables align with TPG's editorial voice and brand standards.</li>
<li>Oversee post-production, working closely with freelance editors and internal video teams to ensure creative quality and timely delivery.</li>
<li>Appear as on-camera talent in partnerships videos as needed.</li>
<li>Capture content in the field when needed, including travel shoots and on-location production.</li>
</ul></li><li>Client &amp; Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul><li>Serve as a client-facing lead on select campaigns, confidently running calls and managing feedback.</li>

<li>5-7+ years of experience in social media, branded content, agency production or client services.</li>
<li>Strong short-form video instincts and deep understanding of platform-native storytelling.</li>

<li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously without sacrificing detail.</li>

Compensation:

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
