 As a Chemistry &amp; Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in chemistry and science according to the British Curriculum. You will inspire students to develop their scientific knowledge, critical thinking skills, and enthusiasm for learning while supporting their academic progress.
 
 
 
 Skills and Qualifications:
 
 
 - Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Chemistry, Education, or related field (minimum requirement)
 
 - At least 2 years of teaching experience in secondary/high school settings
 
 - Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for science subjects
 
 - Ability to plan lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse student needs
 
 - Excellent classroom management skills with an ability to motivate students
 
 - Proficient communication skills in English (both written and spoken)

 Observing and assessing children in line with school assessments.

 Being reflective of the classroom provision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjusting environment, planning and curriculum to reflect this.

 Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.
 </li>

 Ensure the Bateen World Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are being embedded throughout the curriculum

 Assessment and data:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Taking responsibility for the progress of a class.
 </li>
 <li>
 Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of student's development using Target Tracker.
 </li>
 <li>
 Using data provided by assessments to influence further planning, provision and intervention.
 </li>
 <li>
 Providing feedback to parents and carers on a student's progress at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students' needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 Minimum Qualifications:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or an equivalent teacher qualification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Masters in Arabic Language or education is preferred but not necessary.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Minimum Experience

 5 Years teaching experience and it is desirable that candidates have some leadership experience.
