<p><b>Position Overview</b></p><p>Central Assembly of God is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-minded individual to join our facilities team. The Custodian / Facilities Cleaning Team Member plays an important role in creating a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our church, staff, families, and community.</p><p>The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and understands that excellent care of our facilities supports the mission and ministry of our church.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Cleaning &amp; Maintenance</b></p><ul><li>Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of worship spaces, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other facilities/spaces (both indoor and outdoor spaces)</li><li>Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, disinfect, and maintain floors and surfaces</li><li>Empty trash receptacles and maintain proper waste disposal procedures</li><li>Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas</li><li>Assist with organizing and maintaining supplies</li><li>Assist with setup and cleanup for services, events, meetings, and special programs</li></ul><p><b>Facility Support</b></p><ul><li>Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or needed repairs</li><li>Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for church members, staff, students, community member, and guests</li><li>Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines</li><li>Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies</li></ul><p><b>Team &amp; Mission Support</b></p><ul><li>Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers</li><li>Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and respect when interacting with others</li><li>Support the overall mission and values of Central Assembly of God</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Previous custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience preferred but not required</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures</li><li>Ability to lift, move, and carry supplies/equipment as needed</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to serve others</li></ul><p><b>Schedule</b></p><p>Schedule does have some flexibility and may include:</p><ul><li>Early mornings</li><li>Weekdays and/or evenings</li><li>Occasional weekends for events or special services</li></ul><p><b>Compensation &amp; Benefits</b></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly wage based on experience</li><li>Supportive team environment</li><li>Opportunity to contribute to a mission-focused organization</li></ul><p>Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>All employees of Central Assembly of God are required to obtain and submit any and all clearances/background checks required for working in a school/daycare environment. <b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks.
</li><li>Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. (Offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas).
</li><li>Cleaning stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
</li><li>Keep furniture free of dust. As well as lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings.
</li><li>Leaving empty trash cans, as well as cleaning trash cans and ashtrays.
</li><li>Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
</li><li>Clean and maintain restrooms, as well as replenish supplies in this area and where required.
</li><li>Washing and cleaning windows and mirrors.
</li><li>Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area.
</li><li>Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary.
</li><li>Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies in stock and, if applicable, request missing materials from your supervisors.
</li><li>Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or conditions requiring maintenance.
</li><li>Maintain a cleaning chart indicating the areas that were cleaned and inspected.
</li><li>Follow safety and precaution rules.
</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
</li><li>Close doors at the end of the night shift.
