Job Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations</li><li>
Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others</li><li>
Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment</li><li>
Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements</li><li>
Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas</li><li>
Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel</li><li>
Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required</li><li>
Ensures security of company assets</li></ul><p>

Qualifications</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Previous custodial experience preferred.</li><li>
Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals</li><li>
Maintains friendly, efficient, positive guest service demeanor towards guests, clients and co-workers</li><li>
Adaptable to guests? needs</li></ul><p>
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

<p><b>Overview</b></p><p>Join our dynamic team as a Cleaner Janitorial Worker - Day Porter, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities spotless, safe, and welcoming. As a vital part of our facilities maintenance team, you will ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the day, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a safe, healthy, and professional environment every day.</p><p><b>Duties - Weekly</b></p><ul><li>Dust horizontal surfaces</li><li>Power wash trash compactor, trash enclosures and surrounding areas</li><li>Hose down loading docks and ramps in accordance with municipal codes and ordinances.</li></ul><p><b>Monthly</b></p><ul><li>High dust all surfaces, including high reach projections, pipes, ledges and light fixtures. Spot wash as needed</li><li>Vacuum HVAC diffusers and vents</li><li>Pressure wash loading docks base, truck bays and surrounding areas in accordance with municipal codes and ordinances.</li></ul><p><b>Day Porter Services</b></p><p>Day personnel shall be responsible for on-going policing, cleaning and re-stocking duties and all other duties required by Manager to maintain the property in a clean and professional appearance.</p><p>Personnel will use caution to ensure the safety of building visitors and occupants, while performing their duties.</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.</li><li>Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following all chemical handling safety procedures.</li><li>Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.</li><li>Strong attention to safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure work environment.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards staff and visitors.</li><li>Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.</li></ul><p><b>Parking Garage</b></p><ul><li>Police parking areas and structure perimeter for trash and debris</li><li>Empty trash containers, wipe clean and replace liners as needed</li><li>Wipe clean and fine screen ash urns/ sand jars. Replace sand as often as needed</li><li>Wipe down signage at entrances and exits</li><li>Mop all curbs</li><li>Sweep and mop risers and landings</li><li>Stairwells - Spot clean walls</li><li>Stairwells - Dust and wipe clean railings as needed, but not less than once per week</li><li>Elevators and lobbies to be cleaned in accordance with the elevator cleaning specifications</li><li>Clean all light fixtures, pipes and conduits</li><li>Wipe down all garage signage</li><li>Remove cobwebs</li></ul><p>Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly impact the cleanliness, safety, and professionalism of our facilities!
