<div><p><i>The FFT Therapist provides FFT (Functional Family Therapy) virtually, to a maximum of 10 voluntarily participating families at a time who reside in NYC. The target population of young adults (16-25 years old), who are referred to us after an arrest. This is a pilot program to offer FFT to families and young people who might otherwise find themselves incarcerated without this alternative. FFT is an evidence-based model which is home-based, intensive, family therapy. The FFT Therapist participates in all FFT training and consultation activities, and program reviews. In addition to providing Family Therapy, the FFT Therapist will collaborate with other service providers, including but not limited to the Mayor&rsquo;s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA). The FFT Therapist is required to complete all FFT documentation requirements, including meeting appropriate therapeutic and engagement requirements and assessing for family safety and risk.</i></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

At Summit Health&rsquo;s Behavioral Health &amp; Cognitive Therapy Center we employ high level Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat a wide variety of patient conditions including depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, health anxiety and more. We offer intensive clinical supervision and education to help our clinicians become certified in CBT within their first year. We provide both virtual and in-person treatment with a flexible work schedule that includes working from both home and the office.</p><p></p><p>
Candidates must have knowledge of evidence-based treatments for common mental disorders, familiarity with brief, structured intervention techniques (e.g. Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation) and a desire to become skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Experience working with patients who have co-occurring mental health and physical health problems preferred. Knowledge of community resources required.</p><p></p><p><b>
Education Requirements:
</b></p><ul><li><p>Master&rsquo;s or Doctoral Degree.</p></li><li><p>
New Jersey State Licensure in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Psychology required (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCSW-R, LPC).</p></li><li><p>
3-years experience working within an outpatient setting working with child/adolescents or adult 18yrs of age and older.</p></li><li><p>
Familiarity working within a medical setting.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><i>
