What You Will Do:</b></p><p>
Pratt &amp; Whitney&rsquo;s Shop Inspector works independently or under limited supervision and will provide aircraft engine maintenance/repair and/or quick turn aircraft engine maintenance within our Dallas based shop. In this role, you may provide engine troubleshooting, aircraft engine repairs, aircraft engine module removal and replacement, and line maintenance workscopes (including LRU removal and replacement). Responsibilities also include inspection and subsequent return to service of those maintenance activities while developing positive relationships with internal and external customers through outstanding customer awareness.</p><p></p><p>
In this role you will play an important role within our P&amp;W Line Maintenance Services (LMS) organization FAA 145 repair station. The focus of LMS is to provide our customers with increased value through alternative and flexible tailored maintenance solutions.</p><ul><li>
Effectively and efficiently perform borescope inspections of commercial aircraft engines and provide blade blending as appropriate. Create a detailed and comprehensive report of the inspection and findings associated with the inspection.
</li><li>Perform aircraft engine maintenance on all models of Pratt &amp; Whitney Commercial aircraft engines.</li><li>
Conduct preliminary, in process and final inspections as well as hidden damage inspection (as applicable) and record the results as per applicable procedures.</li><li>
