<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Job Duties</h2></div>
<div>To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate skill and ability to:<ul><li>
Administer Airport project controls using the central contracting compliance guidelines on capital planning, evaluations, and administration to ensure clear, cost-effective, and compliant contracts.</li><li>
Collaborate in forming and implementing control processes so project activities are planned, budgeted, scheduled, and documented to strict audit standards.</li><li>
Identify issues with project scope, terms, deliverables, and costs before a contract, amendment, or change order is signed.</li><li>
Oversee contract compliance and provide training across all Airport sections on the procurement of professional, technical, and construction contracts.</li><li>
Develop and revise standard work and templates to improve the compliance and efficiency of project and contract administration.</li><li>
Serve as the Airport&rsquo;s representative for all contract compliance and audits for internal and external needs, including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).</li></ul></div>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills</h2></div>
<div>We are looking for candidates who:<ul><li>
Experience with increasing levels of responsibility in compliance for public contract management and/or architectural, engineering, and construction project management.</li><li>
Experience in ensuring compliance with local and federal procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures.</li><li>
A proven ability to evaluate complex information and simplify it for a wide variety of audiences, delivering clear, multi-mode communications.</li><li>
A record of continuous improvement and related change management activities.</li><li>
A history of building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.</li></ul></div>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Supplemental Information</h2></div>
<div>WORK LOCATION: KCIA works in a hybrid model, with days in the office as well as telecommuting. The ratio of remote to onsite work will be dependent on business needs and is subject to change. The primary onsite location is King County Airport, 7300 Perimeter Road S, Seattle, WA 98108-3848, Washington.
Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
WORK SCHEDULE: This position is Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is not overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday.
