About the role
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Covanta&rsquo;s industrial disposal process.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">

Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, track hoe, skid steer, vacuum truck, tanker truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools</li><li>

As a Feedmill Operator on the night shift, you will receive hands-on training in all areas of the manufacturing process while working under the direct supervision of the Nightshift Leadman and Plant Manager. Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment

<div></div><div>What You&rsquo;ll Do</div>
<div>As an Assembly Technician, you&rsquo;ll be a key part of our production team, responsible for assembling and installing critical systems that make each truck reliable, durable, and customer-ready.</div>
<ul><li>Assemble, install, fit, align, and secure components and equipment on truck chassis</li>
<li>Follow build orders and change orders with precision and efficiency</li>
<li>Build every unit to FlowMark&rsquo;s world-class quality standards</li>
<li>Read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics</li>
<li>Install 12V electrical systems and specialized truck components</li>
<li>Verify finished work meets specifications and tolerances</li>
<li>Align, position, and torque components using proper tools and techniques</li>
<li>Move parts manually or with hoists, cranes, or lifting equipment</li>
<li>Accurately document work performed</li>
<li>Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace</li>
<li>Treat customer equipment with care and professionalism</li>
<li>Collaborate effectively with other departments to keep production moving</li>
