</h2>Join MSF UK as our Face-to-Face Festivals and Events Manager and take a leading role in delivering and evolving a high-impact national fundraising programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced face-to-face fundraising Manager with Festivals and Events experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about both performance and purpose. Job Purpose:
Manage the on-site delivery of MSF UK&rsquo;s Face-to-Face (F2F) fundraising activity across Festivals and Events, ensuring high-performing, safe and professional fundraising operations that maximise income and public engagement.
Provide day-to-day management and development of Team Leaders, Fundraisers and Coordinator-level roles, driving performance through coaching, monitoring and clear accountability against targets.
Coordinate and deliver on-site operational and logistics activity across up to 60 festivals and events annually, working in close partnership with the Logistics Manager, who is responsible for logistics planning and infrastructure.
Act as the most senior on-site representative for MSF, ensuring all festival and event activity runs smoothly, maintaining strong relationships with event organisers, suppliers and stakeholders, and ensuring a high-quality, self-sufficient operational presence.
Work closely with the F2F Programme Lead and wider F2F management team to deliver the Festivals and Events plan, contribute to programme development and support the ongoing growth of the events portfolio.
Support the recruitment, onboarding and effective deployment of F2F agency workers and MSF UK staff, ensuring teams are equipped to deliver high-quality fundraising and meet performance expectations.
Take responsibility for on-site operational planning, including rota management and oversight of timesheet accuracy, ensuring effective resource allocation across activity.
Ensure all team activity adheres to MSF&rsquo;s standards for behaviour, safeguarding, safety and compliance, creating a positive and professional working environment.
Outside of festival periods, take responsibility for the delivery of Private Sites activity, maintaining the same standards of leadership, performance and target achievement. The role is accountable for delivering annual Festivals and Events income targets and contributes to the overall success of the Face-to-Face programme.

The Role:
The Platform Engineer at Zilch plays a crucial role in managing and maintaining the underlying technology infrastructure of our Software, Analytics and ML platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the platform runs efficiently, securely, and at scale.

So, what&rsquo;s the role all about?

We&rsquo;re looking for a UI Engineer who is a strong engineer today and excited about becoming an even better one by thoughtfully using AI as part of their craft.

This is not a research role and not an &ldquo;AI specialist&rdquo; position. It is a modern UI engineering role for someone who wants to work with AI, not around it &ndash; bringing AI tools and practices into the everyday flow of frontend development, and helping the wider team do the same.

What will you be doing?

Working on the Proactive AI Agent product as part of a cross‑functional engineering team, reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will:

<li>Design, build, test and maintain high quality Angular-based frontend applications using modern engineering practices.</li>
<li>Use AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, explore solutions and reduce toil, while applying strong engineering judgement.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with product, architecture and other engineers to deliver customer value.</li>
<li>Collaborate with software architects to ensure web application architecture is best-of-breed and extensible to support rapid development.</li>
<li>Deliver secure, maintainable, well‑tested code that meets internal guidelines and industry best practice.</li>
<li>Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.</li>
<li>Help evolve team practices, especially how AI is used responsibly and effectively in day‑to‑day engineering.</li>
<li>Document decisions, designs and learnings clearly.</li>

Have you got what it takes?

Core UI engineering skills

<li>At least 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong frontend specialism.</li>
<li>At least 4+ years of experience with Angular (2nd generation+) in production applications.</li>
<li>Experience with Angular 16+ features, e.g. standalone components, new control flow, signals.</li>
<li>Practical experience with React; comfortable building and maintaining React components in a production codebase alongside Angular.</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.</li>
<li>Experience working with RESTful APIs.</li>
<li>Experience unit testing with Jasmine + Karma or Jest. Proficient in writing testable and reusable code and developing scalable applications.</li>
<li>Experience with CSS pre-processors (SASS).</li>
<li>Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.</li>
<li>A good understanding of testing, security and software quality fundamentals.</li>
</ul>
