Job Summary:

The Facilities Planner I will be expected to support the Office of Real Estate, Planning, and Space Management on projects including the drafting and updating of campus floorplans, architectural test fitting, furniture procurement, and move coordination. The Facilities Planner will also assist with managing and maintaining the University's Space Inventory System and in developing space plans for University functions. The incumbent will be required to manage their various projects with a high level of independence. The incumbent shall work directly with the senior facilities planner and department Executive Director to complete tasks in a timely manner. Reconcile monthly billing of parking and extra services provided by the landlord.</li><li>
Perform daily walk-throughs of the location and follow up on maintenance issues raised by the workplace experience support supervisor/manager or others within the location.</li><li>
Leverage and deliver on services and procedures outlined in the workplace experience support playbook.</li><li>
Request bids from internal resources, building maintenance and outside vendors and contractors for any work or service that needs to be performed in the location and provide it to the location supervisor/manager for review and selection.</li><li>
Coordinate maintenance of the office space, including carpet maintenance, security system, air-conditioning, plant service, furniture repairs, appliances, office equipment and AED devices.</li><li>

 Essential Functions:

 Tracks all maintenance calls identified by Chimes and enters into Maximo daily
 </li>
 <li>
 Tracks janitorial work orders, analyses data and generates reports as required
 </li>
 <li>
 Collects data, identifies trends and interprets/analyzes data in weekly and monthly reporting to include tracking QC inspection results, , evaluating response times, identifying recurring deficiencies, recommends improvement opportunities, generates graphs and charts to illustrate data analysis results
 </li>

 Trains staff on use of Restroom Alert and JAMS
 </li>
 <li>
 Complies with all Agency policies &amp; procedures and follows contract specifications

 Handles duties with judgement, tact, and accuracy

 Utilizes an Android device and computer for data input and retrieval of information as required
