 We are looking for a full-time Teacher Assistant to join our Lower School for the 2025-2026 school year and play an active part in the day-to-day activities of our Lower School classes in English.

  Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Assisting teachers with lesson preparation by getting materials ready and setting up equipment
  </li>
  <li>
   Working with the lead teacher to monitor the class schedule
  </li>
  <li>
   Going over lesson material with students individually or in small groups
  </li>
  <li>
   Ensuring the classroom environment is safe, clean and tidy
  </li>
  <li>
   Overseeing students during non-classroom times including in-between classes, during lunch, recess, and on-field excursions
  </li>
  <li>
   Collaborating with lead teachers to recognize issues students are facing and recommend solutions
  </li>
  <li>
   Helping lead teachers to create lesson plans
  </li>
  <li>
   During camps, participating as an Lead Teacher
  </li>
  <li>
   Complying with state, school, and class rules and regulations
  </li>
  <li>
   Attending all training classes, parent conferences, and faculty meetings

   High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  </li>
  <li>
   Bachelor's degree in education or relevant field is preferred
  </li>

   A minimum of 2 years experience as a teaching assistant or similar role
  </li>

   Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices
  </li>
  <li>
   Must have a compassionate and positive attitude
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities
  </li>
  <li>
   Preferred candidate will have a current U.S. work visa, if applicable

 The hourly rate for this position ranges between $24.00 to $28.00, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications, and covers all responsibilities, including orientation week meetings, as well as staff and parent meetings.
