Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) is seeking an experienced analyst to join our Business and Customer Analytics team. This role will be responsible for generating business insights that lead to partner actions and strategy across the company.

In this role you will support analytics initiatives and provide comprehensive analysis for assigned and ad hoc requests. You will analyze and synthesize business and customer performance data using internal and external sources. Your insights will inform business decisions across multiple teams and contribute to goal achievement. You will partner on new analytics development and work collaboratively with other Analytics teams, Finance, Data Science, Marketing, and Business Intelligence Engineers to identify reporting needs and implement solutions for analytical process improvements.<br>

Key job responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Provide strategic guidance by delivering data-driven, actionable insights that support leadership and key partner teams</li><li>Contribute to strategic discussions and generate business hypotheses</li></ul>
- Analyze business impact levers (promotions, -price, product, customer, etc.) using 3rd party competitive landscape tools, customer behavior metrics, and data science models.

<ul><li>Own and drive analytical projects from definition through delivery by working across stakeholder teams as a key point of contact</li><li>Collaborate with business partners to identify gaps in analytical processes and reporting</li><li>Work with cross-functional partners to address gaps and influence decision making</li><li>Synthesize and communicate complex data and analyses through effective written documents and presentations</li><li>Mentor and develop more junior analysts by sharing analytics best practices and domain knowledge</li><li>Translate complex data and analyses to various levels within the organization to generate actionable insights.</li><li>Present information effectively and respond to questions in meetings involving various levels of leadership.</li><li>Be analytically curious by investigating the &ldquo;why&rdquo; behind various results</li><li>Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or similar platforms to enable self-service access to performance metrics.</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent</li><li>3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience</li><li>3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience</li><li>Experience with SQL</li><li>Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders</li><li>Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field</li><li>Experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or similar experience in big data environments</li><li>Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions</li><li>Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning &amp; allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation or supply chain</li><li>Experience with advanced analytics</li><li>Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities</li></ul><br>

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
